Wanted to get that last meal before leaving town and decide on cotton patch with my mom. She?s a big fan but I?ve only been once... in the past, but based off the meal I had, I would definitely return. We both ordered the same thing getting the fried catfishand shrimp combo. This came with two sides and roll or cornbread. We both opted for the rolls. besides I chose green beans andcorn. The fish was perfectly cooked and I only got one small piece of bone across all the fillets. The shrimp were alsodelicious and I got those with cocktail sauce. Overall this was one of the best meals I?ve had from a chain restaurant in termsof catfish, especially for the price! Read more
Cedar hills location has fallen off. The quality is bad. I bought a new item, beef tips. They have very small piece of beef... the consistency of what I think dog food would be. The cornbread only gave them 2 stars. Read more
Great food. Horrible service. The whole environment was very lackadaisical. Lots of staff standing around doing nothing. It was... as if there was absolutely no management around, so nobody was motivated to give good service. We waited unbelievably long tobe seated (it was 9 pm on a Monday night and was NOT the least bit busy). When they finally acknowledged us waiting, they verynonchalantly went to clean a table for us (there were lots of dirty tables waiting to be bussed). They removed the dirty dishes,and then chatted with some co-workers, then washed the table, then chatted with some co-workers again, then eventually andfinally seated us, at a soaking wet table. When we asked for a towel to dry the table ourselves, they very slowly came over withpaper napkins and ran their hands over about 1/3 of the table. It was very much a Twilight Zone moment. I've truly never seensuch a "do not care", everyone walking around half asleep overall environment. We love Cotton Patch, but not this particularone (our first time at this location). Read more

June 2021! I had the chicken spaghetti and butter cake and it was delicious, I just wish the chicken spaghetti had more cheese... and seasonings but overall for it to come from a restaurant it was good! It was my first time here and won't be my last, I'm inlove with this place and can't wait to try different things on the menu. I forgot to take a pic of the spaghetti ???????? but Idid take one of the butter cake and as u can see in the pic, it speaks for itself. And it's whip cream and caramel sauce on top,yum???? I had got it to go so that's why it's in the container. All in all I'm one satisfied customer???? Update March 2022! Ijust had chicken fried brisket with cream gravy and dr.pepper sauce and it was the bomb! This place never disappoints me, andyes I said brisket and not chicken it's new on their menu, and as y'all can see I had southern green beans and mac and cheeseand corn(not pictured) as my sides. I also got the new Texas Hummingbird Cake and let me just tell y'all go try it foryourselves because oh my goodness you won't be disappointed! Read more
Green tomatoes were flavorful and fresh. The dill sauce made the difference. Chicken fried Chicken was good, ask for more gravy.... Broccoli rice casserole was better than I expected. The cinnamon apples weren?t my favorite. The sauce was too runny. I wanted athicker heartier sauce. Read more
My mom and I were seated quickly and greeted nicely. The restaurant was really clean and the customer service was great. The... only problem was that mom's meatloaf was undercooked, so we had to send that back. My meal on the other hand was delish. Ourwaiter Lee made sure to correct that problem for us. So yes we'll be back to try them again due to such great service. Read more
It was our first visit to Cotton Patch very nice place very clean our waitress was very nice and friendly but seemed a little... distracted with other staff members. but overall it was a good experience and we will come back. Read more
