First timer! But it was a great place to have dinner with my wife. Appetizer was fried Alligator Tails and it was good. But... never had alligator before so how would I really know if it was alligator. Wife ordered extra crispy Fried Catfish Basket withmashed potatoes and greenbeans and I had the Cajun Blackened Catfish plate with green beans and rice. Both meals were great! Butdid have to send the fried cats back since the fillets weren't fried all the way thru (extra crispy). But it was a very pleasantmeal and pleasant atmosphere, family friendly as well. Arrived right before happy hour ended, wwiinniinngg. The hostess was real nice, Kyla our waitress was phenomenal, she checked on... the table on a consistent basis, when you visit here ask for her. Ordered fried pickles and boudin balls for apps. Fried pickleswere cut thick but still good, boudin balls was spicy and perfectly seasoned. Entrees came out quick. Didn't know the greenbeans had pork in them barf but the jalapeño catfish and red beans rice plates were great but they lose a star because of thepork and the fly that wanted to join us for dinner. #GumboGawd Read more
We had the crawfish two ways, the sea food platter and the crawfish fondue. Nothing disappointed. It was all great. The food... was fresh and cooked perfectly the way I like it. I can?t remember ever going to a Razzoo?s when it wasn?t great. Definitelyrecommend. Read more
Although it took 35 mins to be seated, we had excellent service by Malik. Awesome job Malik on being attentive and listening.... Your smile lights up the room and don't allow anyone to take that away. I ordered the stuffed shrimp and it was okay, but notworth the money. The rice was undercooked on All entres, even the appetizers, but although the food and and wait mediocre, MALIKdid an awesome job all while training Lucky who was also doing a good job. For our holiday girls night out we chose Razoo?s in Cedar Hill. Great choice by the way. It was a Monday evening with no wait... for a table. We loved the fact that the restaurant wasn?t overly crowded. The location worked well for everyone in attendance. Upon arrival, one of the three hostesses pointed out our table. Our server Malik was awesome, accommodating and attentive butnot overbearing. The side cesar salads ordered took a while to reach our table but they were worth the wait. A few of ourguests selected the Hurricane Salmon which was a hit! I requested the removal of spicy hurricane glaze and it was done. Evenwithout the glaze, the Salmon was delicious and cooked to perfection. The overcooked green beans smothered in gravy were theonly reason my plate wasn?t cleaned.. My hubs and I really has the best time for our date night here. We ate at the table and we had great service eating at the bar.... Food was amazing! They checked on us and made us feel welcome. We had fun and left satisfied! Read more
Razzoo's is hit or miss for me. Sometimes the food is great and other times it's a disappointment. The drinks are ALWAYS good... and strong. The oysters were overcooked like chewing bubble gum(had a good flavor though) and the red beans and rice was alittle bland but not too bad. We also had the seafood platter which was pretty good.
