Overall, we were let down with our experience here. I ordered an old fashioned and it came with a muddled up orange slice, a cup... full of ice, and muddled cherries. Food was good, service was good, once it got busy it took awhile to get the check and dessert. Ten minutes sitting there waiting... for the check then ten minutes waiting for dessert then ten minutes To get my credit card back. Alittle rediculous but the fooditself was decent. Read more
We had a party of 20 today. Our waiter, Doug did an amazing job catering to our food desires. He was extremely patient,... professional, and efficient. Everyone got everything they requested. Very pleased with thus location of Saltgrass. The service was prompt and friendly; the facilities were clean and comfortable.... Our food was served quickly, had a very nice presentation, and was cooked to order. Based on our visit to this location, wewould be happy to visit other locations. For 5 people w/o alcohol ~ $140. Had a wonderful meal here. Melanie was our server. She was fantastic. Melanie was thoughtful and went over and above on... several occasions. Genuine smile and knowledgeable with the menu and drinks. She recommnded and offered a small tasting of alocal bourbon (Balcones), which cemented my drink for the evening. I am gluten free and saltgrass has a GF menu. She broughtme a nicely toasted gluten free bun. I did not even know this was an option so it was a rare and welcome GF surprise, one Ihaven't had in years. I ordered the bone in pork chops and they came out juicy, cooked and seasoned perfectly. My salad wasfresh. I felt the price was very reasonable for my delicious, fresh, gluten free meal and wonderful service. Read more
Acknowledged upon entering the restaurant. Immediately seated. Only a short wait before server arrived. Fried onions appetizer... was really good. Caesar salad was good with just enough dressing. My double bone grilled pork chop was delicious. My sweetpotato was a nice compliment to my chop. The onion soup was amazing and the chicken salad was a winner. The game changer was thecarrot cake. Saltgrass is one of my favorite steakhouses so there is always something I'm going to enjoy eating here. It did take us a while... to be seated and when we did get seated, we waited at least 10 minutes before someone came to our table to take our drink order.Our server was totally awesome when she came to the table. Our drinks and appetizers were AWESOME!! Our steaks were not sogreat. We ordered medium well steals and definitely got medium rare. My Ribeye steak came back PERFECT but my sons T-bone wasstill dang near raw to the bone. Our server Jamie was super apologetic and had her manager take care of it. We'll definitelyreturn to this location because their cheese fries are to die for! Read more
