I?ve ate here a few times now and love it! I?ve enjoyed everything I?ve ordered! I will say that a lot of what I?ve ordered... seems to have a bit of a kick?like red pepper flake flavors. I called in advance to see if we could get a reservation for my husbands birthday. The person who answered the phone told me... they only accept reservations for groups over 20. I asked if they do anything special for birthdays and she informed me I canspeak to our server to get a free dessert. We arrived at 6 p.m and were told it would be a 30 min wait. It was for this exactreason we were hoping to get a reservation. When we did finally get seated, our server was gone for a long time after he handedus menus. We hoped the food would make up for the wait time. I ordered crab cakes which I love but these were the worst onesI've ever had. I only ate one. My husband had a pork chop which was good but not great. We did, however, enjoy the duck fatfries. I informed the server after we were done eating that we would have the brownie as the birthday dessert. The serverhadn't even cleared our table before he brought the brownie. We had to push our plates around our table to make room fordessert. We eventually signalled a different server to get us a to-go box and toclear plates. Overall the entire experience wasa huge disappointment. From not being able to make reservations (I'd have loved it if we could have been able to make priorplans to have dessert brought out as a surprise and to not have to wait for a table) . For what you pay, the food was reallyunderwhelming. Our server wasn't rude but he wasn't friendly either and his service was wanting. I would only come back for adrink ( I recommend the witch slap) and kudos to the lady at the bar who served us. Read more
