I called in advance to see if we could get a reservation for my husbands birthday. The person who answered the phone told me... they only accept reservations for groups over 20. I asked if they do anything special for birthdays and she informed me I canspeak to our server to get a free dessert. We arrived at 6 p.m and were told it would be a 30 min wait. It was for this exactreason we were hoping to get a reservation. When we did finally get seated, our server was gone for a long time after he handedus menus. We hoped the food would make up for the wait time. I ordered crab cakes which I love but these were the worst onesI've ever had. I only ate one. My husband had a pork chop which was good but not great. We did, however, enjoy the duck fatfries. I informed the server after we were done eating that we would have the brownie as the birthday dessert. The serverhadn't even cleared our table before he brought the brownie. We had to push our plates around our table to make room fordessert. We eventually signalled a different server to get us a to-go box and toclear plates. Overall the entire experience wasa huge disappointment. From not being able to make reservations (I'd have loved it if we could have been able to make priorplans to have dessert brought out as a surprise and to not have to wait for a table) . For what you pay, the food was reallyunderwhelming. Our server wasn't rude but he wasn't friendly either and his service was wanting. I would only come back for adrink ( I recommend the witch slap) and kudos to the lady at the bar who served us. Read more
VERY nice establishment with a bunch of interesting, quirky history! Food and drinks were DELICIOUS! Our waiter even had an eye... on the gift bag we brought my mom for her birthday and sent out a special little plate! Very nice, great experience! Read more
Friday nights are super busy, 45 minute wait for a table. The peachy keen drink was dangerously good, Witchslap was also a... favorite. I took off one star because our food orders were taken 30 minutes after we got our table. At least the food came outquickly and tasted great. I guess it was worth the wait!?? Read more
Absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere and staff are welcoming, our server was great! Duck fat fries were crispy and delicious,... the tenderloin was so unique, and the praline pecan old fashioned was out of this world. Can't wait to go back and try somethingelse! Read more
Great food. Great ambiance Captain crunch fish appetizer was unique and delicious.i would definitely wont miss it. Drink menu is... elaborate. Loved the selection of wines. I am a big fan of mules and they had 15 different once. Had to go with pistachios whichdid not disappoint. Read more
