I'd never been here before but have always heard good things. The front-counter person was so helpful and let me try some... samples. She told me they grind their own wheat and use simple ingredients, like honey to help preserve the longevity of thebread. She even offered helpful tips on freezing the breading needed. Not only are the breads and baked goods delicious and well-priced, staff are friendly and helpful. Not sure which loaf to buy?... They'll offer you a sample. Ditto for baked goods. I'm having a strawberry oatmeal bar for breakfast after sampling a (generous)few bites. And when I purchased two loaves of bread to bring to a client's employees, the very nice woman at the counter notonly offered to slice but also packaged the loaves in a box for better display in the breakroom. We love going here for the special tea times she hosts. In this case I invited several women in my family as a celebration for... mother's day. We had a delightful time and the food and tea were outstanding. I will definitely go back for these afternoonteas. Also, I pick up a loaf of their delicious bread anytime I'm on that side of town. This is one of the tastiest places in town! Fresh, delicious-smelling bread, smiling faces and incredible lunches- what more... could you ask for?
