Kind of a best kept secret location. Definitely a must for cheesesteak. The rice bowl was super good too. The staff was... pleasant and helpful. I would recommend PepperJax for lunch. Read more

Probably the only decent "fast food" left in Iowa. Pepperjax never disappoints!

Both Sandwiches I have had there are tasty, they start fries for you right away, if you want them and they make for a speedy... process. The dining area was decently clean. I do wish there was some sort of different infrastructure for condiments/sauces. Itwas a metal organizer with packets and a lever jug of Heinz. I apreciate having packets as an option though Read more

First, the staff on tonight were exceptional. The food exceptional. The problem and reason for 3 stars, they were consistently... treated poorly while we sat and ate because they had far to much happening for two people to manage period. Door dash beinghostile because they had to long of a line of customers, is it really that unreasonable to staff the place with one extra personduring the peak hours? Read more

First time eating at this location, and was really looking forward to it since my local P-Jax closed down. Walked in and one of... the first things out of the shift leads mouth is that someone didnt show today, and that she is trying to complete a cateringorder. She took our order, for 2 burritos, and then had to grab more supplies from the back. She came out and started cookingour order, while the gentleman in front of us had his order used for a door dash order, and he had to settle for a random phillythat was on the grill. We chose to dine in, amd got our drinks and sat down. About this time, the shift lead sent the ptheremployee to the front of store to clean tables. She had to get her cleaning buckets ready and slowly meandered out front andwiped down some tables. The shift lead then started yelling at her about not being behind the counter helping customers anddoing work back there. The employee then started yelling back at the shift lead and those two continued to argue for severalminutes with loud voices and a store full of people. The shift lead then walked out front and lock the doors to the store so noother customers could come in so she could finish completing the catering order, we have been in the store at this point for 20minutes and she had been working on this catering order supposedly the whole time, while working on current customer orders anddoordash orders. To customers came and tried to get in the store and knocked on the door very loudly and one of them triedcalling the store to try and get in to no avail. It was very unfortunate when the Pepper Jack's Grill in the Quad Cities closeddue to poor management, but I don't see this one staying open much longer if this is the experience people have. The food wasnot bad, but not nearly as good as I remembered either. Read more
