Our server made the day. She was busy but stayed friendly and always had a smile. The food was good but Perkins didn't seem to... have any vegan options or even vegetarian. We asked if price could be reduced if the meat was left out of a salad. I've been toseveral places that will do that since the meat is the most expensive part. Our waitress was very hard working but this rating isn't for her, she gets 5+ for being awesome. However, the chicken pieces... dinner was lacking. It wasn't even big enough for a kids meal. With 2 tbsp of potatoes slopped on with tons of gravy. Not worththe. $14 they charge you. Not pleased with this, the big breakfast is more worthy of $14 and a meal fit for an hungry adult. Read more
We frequently travel and need a bite to eat late at night. This place is open till midnight. The guy behind the counter, I think... his name was Trevor, was very outgoing and friendly. Despite being close to closing time, the food was hot and had generousportions. The chicken strips were awesome. The tater tote crispy and steamed broccoli was great. The prices were reasonable aswell. Any time we travel to Cedar Rapids we will remember to stop and eat here. Read more
We went to breakfast this morning and had Pebble as our waitress, she was very friendly, fast and playfully funny. She made our... experience delightful. We have encountered poor customer service in many establishments lately but Pebble restored my faith inthe food industry. So waitresses is all rude. She has no patience. For got to put my one of my child's food in system. One came out and other one... looking at me like where my food. My wife got mash with NO gravy but got mash with gravy taking off. Drinks are out. No onionrings. Had to wait 15 min to get seated.wife had a bowl of potato soup and luck warm. We were at Perkins around 6:30 on Saturday evening. The parking lot was fairly empty in comparison to the surrounding... restaurants. I must say it has been several years since I had been to this location. I ordered coffee and the turkey dinner. Mycoffee at best was luke warm.
