I am a truck driver and this restaurant was recommended to me by a fellow driver. This food DEFINITELY HITS!! It is so hard to... find authentic good food and I was so pleasantly surprised!! I ate the chicken stew for lunch yesterday, I ordered for deliverythe red snapper last night for dinner and now that I have to hit the road again I am stopping in to pick up more chicken stewfor the road. I ordered Wawa wings and jerk pork ribs (extra spicy). Everything was packed with flavor and ribs were fall off the bone.... Atmosphere was friendly and felt like you were in someone?s home. Try the homemade orange lemonade very refreshing. Read more

6 visits, 6 fantastic meals. All of the food is so delicious and the portions are beyond generous. The owners are very charming... and Wawa almost always comes out to ask how you're enjoying your meal. Everything is made from scratch, even down to a specialherb and tomato sauce for the rice and a funky-spicy pepper paste condiment. If you're unsure about the menu I would HIGHLYrecommend: Jerk Chicken, Oxtail stew, Goat stew (honestly I bet all of the stews are amazing), and on the weekends a friedappetizer called Malanga.
