The person that served us was really energetic, seemed to be new, but was really kind and hardworking. The atmosphere was a... little old as our seats had holes, the cieling tiles seemed to have water damage, and the wallpaper was out of fashion. As wellas the entire kitchen area from what I saw kinda seemed to decay due to the building's probable lack of renovation. The food wasokayish but honestly unoriginal. I remember my family commenting that the Philly Cheese steak sandwich that was on the menu thatthe description of the sandwich did not match up to what it should be. Absolutely terrible experience. I always tip my waitress but this is the first time I flat out refused. Our waitress was rude!... Tossed stuff on the table, was sloppy pouring coffee so it went everywhere and we had to ask for napkins to clean it up... shewas gonna walk away and leave it like that! We had to track her down to get anything. When we asked her to refill our coffees Iasked for cream and she came back with a handful and tossed them on the table so they went everywhere. She didn't check on usonce. We had to track her down again to even get our boxes and the check. Table next to us weren't happy with her either. Shehad dark scraggly hair and colorful eyeshadow on. There was another waitress working who was so kind and apologized for hercoworkers behavior. Where is management? The food was burned, dry and inedible. Literally. Food and trash was all over thefloor, our table was dirty and even had a dead fly on it. Sticky substance all over the booth i was in. Ordered Togo. Food didn't take long. Restaurant looked clean. Cashier was busy with her phone. We still feel it rude to be on... your phone while you are at work...I understand others take "smoke" breaks....but either way it is stealing time from thecompany. This store must give away at leat an hour of labor every day so people can keep up with the "better" part of theirlives. Did I mention I was handed our container, no bag,napkins,ketchup any of those things a person may need eating a burgerand fries? Just a container. Person ahead got a bag? We waited a half hour for our food. When I asked the waitress, she snapped “they were here before you”. I was shocked and... confused by her rude response. I wasn’t trying to cut ahead of anyone, I was just asking how much longer because we had a longdrive and I was anxious to get back on the road. After that she refused to speak to us at all. I asked for more water and shebasically threw it on the table. My son wanted a to go box, but she would not come back to be able to ask for one. Terrible,terrible service. I still cleaned the table for her and left my customary 25% tip. Food was just okay. I had an omelette and thestuff inside the omelette was over cooked. Read more
I rarely leave reviews, but how horrible the food is at this place...people need to know so they don't waste their money! We are... traveling and I am one that always reads reviews and saw it didn't have the best reviews, but we wanted breakfast for dinner andfigured how can anyone screw breakfast food up that bad. Man were we wrong. We even ordered several items from the breakfastmenu and not one item was edible. We tried the sausage gravy and biscuits. The biscuits were rubbery and bland, the gravy was anodd color and horrible taste that didn't even come close to sausage gravy. We got the works scramble and it was extremely blandand undercooked. Tried the pancakes and the cinnamon french toast, my husband and I both had to spit it out, it was disgusting.They looked good and edible, but I can't even describe the flavor other than disgusting and not edible at all. My husband alsotried the classic blockbuster. He said it was extremely bland and didn't taste like eggs or sausage, the bacon was the onlything not horrible, but still had a weird taste. I would like to know what ingredients they use to cook and bake with becausethe way everything tasted it can not be normal ingredients to make these items. Nobody can cook this horrible and own arestaurant, or I guess they can! I caution anyone who wants to try this place, you will end up regretting it and have to suck upthe money wasted and go get food from another restaurant so you aren't starving. Waitress was very nice! Food was good, except for the bacon. Very burnt, asked for new bacon. Waitress was happy to oblige! Cook... sent out a second side of burnt bacon. Got a receipt for $43 from someone (not our waitress), then a second receipt from ourwaitress. The one from our waitress was lower, I figured it was because of the bacon. Went to pay & the woman that gave us the$43 receipt said it’s ringing up at $43. I told her I figured it was due to the severely burnt bacon. Bill was lowered in theend. Not the food I remember as a kid. Decided to stop more out of nostalgia than expectations of food. Fries under cooked, onion... rings blah, definitely not worth upcharge, burgers tasteless. Read more
