The kids Chocolate Chip Pancakes were massive! There were chocolate chips inside and on top on the pancakes. Hubby got the... Biscuit and Gravy as well as ordered the Bacon Bagel Sliders. I decided to go out of my comfort zone and get something I?veNEVER ordered or even heard of before, the Fresh Berry Dutch Baby. The pancakes were average, but our daughter loved them sincethere was chocolate in them. Hubby was disappointed in the Biscuit and Gravy because there was no meat in the gravy, thebiscuit was clearly house made and that was good. He actually ended up only eating the Bagel Sliders (which he enjoyed) andsaving the Biscuit and Gravy to bring home so we could ?fix? it and add sausage . He said he would not have ordered it if heknew there was no meat in the gravy. For someone who has never had a Dutch Baby, I had no clue what to expect. The best way Ican explain it was it was between a crepe and a pancake, I thought it was old but wished there was more berries inside for theprice I paid for it. Additionally, the Dutch Baby was bitter on the outside, I can only assume it was from the skillet it wascooked in that gave it this flavor. I did enjoy it enough that I?d love for hubby to make one for me (he claims he knows how soI?d love to put that to the test LOL). All in all, we loved the atmosphere here, they even gave our daughter a ?coloring board?which she LOVED! And the style inside made me feel like I was in the 80s. Absolutely amazing Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and Chicken and Waffles. The environment is absolutely wonderful. Very old town feel... with great people. If you visit on a weekend you will experience a wait but it?s usually not very long. Can?t wait to return totry something else on the menu. Highly recommended. Read more
Wow, if you are hungry you need to be here. They offer great choices for Breakfast and Lunch. I had the Dutch Baby with... strawberries and blueberries. It is a plate size very lite pancake and it was delicious and impressive. Others in my party hadthe Beef and cheddar sandwich made with prime rib with crinkle cut fries they couldn't stop bragging on how tender the meat was. All four enjoyed everything we had including the diner atmosphere. Will definitely be back. The service was also amazing.A++++++++ Read more
I adored this diner! I got to go twice and the waffle, pancake, and biscuit with gravy were so good! It's really the perfect... place for a breakfast after a long walk around town. Plenty of delicious options, I would love to go back some day! Read more
I have to say that I was a little let down with my breakfast. It came out looking amazing but the toast and sausage links were... cold like they had been sitting around for awhile . The portions were awesome but people who love avocado toast know it comesdown to the flavor. The Avocado was just plain with no flavor at all. I have been trying to find the Restaurant with the bestavocado toast and so far I am going to have to say that nobody has come close to First Watch. Read more
EXCELLENT! Love the location of the diner. Also the interior is very cozy and cute. Arrived around 1pm on a Thursday. Fairly... busy but no wait to be seated. Ordered the pancake bacon dippers to share and they arrived very quickly and were delicious. Wealso ordered the steak omelet and the banana split waffle. The banana split waffle was amazing!! All of our food arrived veryfast and our server Alice was very kind! They also have the small pebble ice which I love. We left the restaurant around 1:30pm.Military discount available. Downtown Diner is a diner located in Downtown Celebration. This is a diner that mixes the modern vibe and diner vibe. The server... has been great to us. The food and drinks come in large portions. My biscuits and gravy was good, as well as the quiche.However, the omelet and potatoes were not very good.
