My husband and I booked a last minute dining reservation while we were on our way to the restaurant. Parking was fair especially... on a Saturday afternoon. Our overall dining experience was wonderful. The food was amazing. I got the Pan Seared Snapper and myhusband had the Pull Pork Sandwich. The Floorless chocolate torte with ice cream was delicious. About ten years ago this was an independently owned and operated boutique hotel. The decor was British colonial. The... service was exemplary. They had a separate lounge and a formal dining room called the Plantation Room. On Friday and Saturdaynights the lounge featured a piano player, Jeff, who sang and had the crowd participate in musical games. My wife and I weretreated like royalty there on our first anniversary. While we were in the lounge enjoying Jeff's entertainment the hotelmanager had chocolates, bottle of champagne, and rose petals placed in our room complimentary. Since then the hotel has beenpurchased by Marriott. The interior was redecorated and it's nowhere near the same. While the service is still very good,because of the change of staff they are not exemplary. The quality of the meals is good but again not the same. We had EasterSunday brunch just a few days ago and while again the food was good it is not the same quality as it used to be. And alsovery pricey approximately $90 per person. The service was not the same level there were some minor mistakes something that youwould expect at a lower rated establishment but not at a boutique hotel. I think you get a better quality service, betterquality food at Boma in the animal Kingdom Lodge. And for less money about $50 a head. I wish the management team would revertto the hotel back to the way it was and have it completely independent of the Marriott chain. Read more
Had a wonderful, relaxing weekday brunch here overlooking the lake, felt very safe. Staff wore masks, as did we when we were... inside. Accommodated a gluten-free and vegan diet, even had a flourless chocolate cake for dessert. Bottomless mimosas for $16was a bargain for two hours of drinking. Loved the peach cocktail and the food was well done. And after lunch, you can enjoy arelaxing walk around the lake, or enjoy Market Street shops. Read more
Stayed at the Bohemian Hotel in Celebration, FL for our anniversary. Made reservations at the Lakeside Bar and Grill for our... anniversary dinner. The hotel and restaurant staff were amazing!. They attended to every detail and the chef and his staffcreated an AMAZING vegan dinner! As a vegan I often struggle to find a fine dining quality experience/meal. The chef and staffhere, went out of their way to make sure our anniversary dinner was very special. I will definitely be back to celebrate morespecial moments. A pleasant surprise. Quality of food is excellent here. Lighter well balanced portions and nice ambiance with gorgeous... chandelier in the center. You do need to book a table here as they have limited sitting outside. Cost per person about $50 perfull meal. Read more
I was spending my last day in Orlando and I wanted to visit Lakeside bar and grill for a nice brunch. The food was lovely and... the views were divine. We had an outdoor seating and it was so peaceful and our server was so attentive. I couldn’t of askedfor a better experience here. The margarita I ordered was one of the best I’ve ever had.
