This is one of three locations. The food is fantastic as was the staff. Had the 1/2 lb pulled pork and a 1/2 lb brisket. That... was a lot of food. There is also a side available and the beer was cooled. We're here for a few days so we'll be back! Oh man...this place is no joke. If you're in the area you really need to try it out. We got the moist brisket which had a... really nice smokey flavor. We also tried the sausage, loaded spud, and some of the best banana pudding I've had in a long longtime. We'll definitely be back Read more

The Tender Smokehouse is a wonderful old and rustic local attraction in the midst of downtown Celina. The place has a wonderful... old small town vibe and is decorated accordingly. Everyone is extremely friendly and all the regulars are on a first name basiswith all the staff. They treat newcomers just as well as the regular customers I might add. All their staff is super polite andeveryone we talked to was upbeat, outgoing and down home friendly. We sampled their giant loaded Texas Baked potato I had minewith 1/2 Brisket and 1/2 pulled pork. It was unfathomablely delicious. Object mouthwatering comfort food. The potato was thebiggest id ever seen. The pulled pork part was really, really good but the Brisket part stole the show. I will be back earlierin the day next time to try their Sledgehammer Sandwich. My wife suggested we pop in there for dinner tonight for a quick bitewhich we were effortlessly seated at the bar top and had our order in under 5 minutes. Very glad I tried it was delicious. Iwill make this my favorite place to eat when I am in the area for certain. Definitely puts some higher end and more advertisedestablishments to shame. Their was also some nice souvenir items avaliable including their housemade famous meat rubs and BBQsauce, and a selection of logo T shirts and hats. Great Job Tender Smokehouse Will be back soon. Wonderful staff from the moment you walk in. A lot of bbq places try to overcompensate flavor and good cooking with gimmicks and... unusually rustic builds. Tender smokehouse has a beautiful atmosphere and the food is delicious. I ordered brisket (they ask youif you want it lean or moist) jalapeño sausage, potato salad, beans and banana pudding. 10/10 on everything and I had leftoverpotato salad. Seriously the food is delicious!!! We sat in the VIP area and the staff quickly came to check on us and offer abeater because the temperature dropped. We had such a wonderful time and a great experience. I cannot wait to go back!! Read more
