**Edited to reflect the person involved was a Manager. Not the owner. I wouldn't know who was who, but I have corrected that... mistake. We attended a wedding at 2 Penguins. Upon arrival, I was impressed by the layout for a restaurant that could host bothweddings and daily customers. However, it didn?t take long to be unimpressed. While the burgers were good, the alcohol was not. They only served a particular brand of craft beer and drafts were $9. The staff constantly hovered and grabbed away any glassthey deemed finished. Often, when returning from the dance floor, drinks that were not empty were taken causing us to purchaseanother pricey drink. While the best man gave a speech, they were rudely taking down one of the buffet areas, so we couldn?thear him well from their noise. They removed the food early enough that some people didn?t eat. They also started mopping whilethe party was still happening. At first, I thought maybe someone had spilled something, but it didn?t appear to be so. I had thedistinct feeling that we were not wanted or at the very least, we were being rushed to be done. After I witnessed the manager ofthe place yelling terrible obscenities at the BRIDE in front of young children (who does that?!) and her family members(incredibly unprofessional regardless of their reactions) and shutting down the reception at 10:00, I decided I would leave thisreview to warn others. Evidently, the reason we were kicked out was that someone had brought in a beer from their car-noannouncement was made publicly by the manager about the legality of doing that, even though there was a microphone available todo so. The bridal party and guests had driven from Oklahoma, Vermont, and Nebraska for this wedding!! What a terrible ending ofa special day for the bride and groom!!! Read more

We had both our wedding and reception at 2 Penguins Tap and Grill in the Beer Hall space and garden area and we absolutely loved... it. The entire team at 2 Penguins was incredibly helpful through the whole process. When we first started looking for a venue wewere living out of state and Dan was kind enough to do a video walkthrough with us so we could see the whole space. He was superinformative and communicative throughout the entire process, and his insights were very helpful when making decisions. They hadmany great food options and the one we selected was super well received by our guests and they thought the venue was beautiful. They were very helpful with our other vendors as well. We'd highly recommend them for your wedding (or any other event!) Read more

Ordered the chicken bites and sandwich, the meat were extremely dry and rubbery. Hummus and pita was ok but veggies definitely... not the freshest. Friendly service though. Read more

Wonderful restaurant and space! You can have a drink from their wide menu, and especially good beer selection with your meal. ... In Oct 2019 my husband and I had our wedding reception here. Dan was extremely helpful and organized. We had such a greatexperience and people still almost 3 years later tell us how great our wedding was. Thanks 2 Penguins for being around! Read more

Easy 5 stars based on food and waiter Sammy. Only negatives were the hostess being off-putting by seeming irritated and we had... to wait 20 min I be seated on a busy Friday night with live music. Otherwise amazing. Great beer selection, amazing food (alittle too spicy), and excellent service. Sammy was the best waiter I've had in years. No exaggeration. We'll be back! Read more

Great place to get a bite to eat and awesome local beer. Bartenders here are very personable and a great to talk to. Food here... is really good as well. I would recommend the fish and chips, pork burrito or the chicken bites. If you're just looking for aquick snack with your beer the bar chips with the Fireside BBQ is a great choice as well. ***3/4/2019 Update*** New menu isout. The new Loaded chicken bites are amazing. The tap selection is on point as always. Get in and try the New Image AnniversaryEffect IPA while supplies last. ***6/20/2019 Update*** Enjoyed the potato leek soup and crab cakes for happy hour. They havethe Grapefruit Corialis from New Image and Spelunking from Outer Range. They are both fantastic IPAs. Stop in and check themout. *** 12/3/2019 Update*** Had the tomato basil soup today with a custom grilled cheese. Phenomenal! Chuck is an amazingbartender and always look forward to seeing him behind the bar. Friendly staff as always and amazing deal nner tonight! Thanks 2Penguins ???? ????! ***6/9/2020*** Back after lockdown and things are as they were in terms of service and food. There aresome additional steps to follow and a mask is required but that is to be expected. Safety is the number one priority right nowand I dig it. I had the steak sandwich and it was divine! Chased it with an Anniversary Effect IPA and it really hit the spot!If you were a previous patron I encourage you to come back as much as you can to support this local gem. Places like this arestarting to go by the wayside. Buy local, support local! ???? 3/19/2021 Tried the new hangover burger. Very tasty! The baconjam was great. Try it with the onion ring. No chin slappers here! Read more
