Started with the ahi tuna aguachiles. This is something I would order anytime I see it or ceviche on the menu. This dish was so... salty I was unable to taste any of the flavors of the fish, fruit or vegetables. Disappointing for the restaurant since Iabsolutely love every single bite at The Essex. Ordered the pork carnitas. Stay tuned for that review. Forgot to take a picbut the pork was amazing! Tender, flavorful and the mole sauces were great. It made up for the tuna. A friend and I visited Los Charros for Cinco de Mayo, and we were not disappointed! We opted to do the five course prix fixe... tasting menu, and every course was incredible! Chef Taylor’s cooking is truly fantastic. We were fortunate to be seated in thenew lounge area of the restaurant, which added a really cool flare to our experience. Though they were quite busy, they handledthe crowd well, and the staff was very professional. I travel down this way a lot during the summer and plan on making LosCharros one of my frequent places to stop at! Read more
Just enjoyed a very yummy meal at Los Charros. Our waitress was attentive and quick to replenish drinks. The appetizers were... delightful. We had the tuna and the chilaquiles. The avocado margarita was great and very unique. I had the fluke tempura tacosand my husband the lobster special and both were good. Desserts were yummy as well. Food came out very quickly. One of ourappetizers spilled and no one bothered to clean up the spill throughout our meal, that was our only complaint. Given thedifficulty in this current climate of finding good staff this wasn’t a deal breaker for us. We enjoyed our meal and will beback! Thank you to our server for her enthusiasm. ???? Read more

We came here on a Saturday evening after making a reservation on the same day. All of our food and drinks were tasty, especially... the salsa sampler! The tacos are a bit expensive but if you order a couple of appertizers, you only have to order two tacos tobe full. Read more
