Was looking for a salad spot and came across this place. I got spinach as my base with quinoa, croutons, carrots, and tomatoes... as a topping and steak as my meat. I didn?t get any cheese. They have a Buffalo ranch sauce that is SO good I only ate it withmy steak though. They also give discounts for first responders. Definitely will be coming back & telling my co workers. Read more
Today I picked up a whole bunch of food from Swolehouse Meals . They are a partner of ours so with the discount it was a great... price (Join Long Island foodies on FB). Hell even without the discount it was awesome. As you see I live a very active lifebetween work and soccer we are constantly running. I want to start eating healthier where we can and not going out to dinner asmuch. They have such a variety of foods plus they offer completely custom meals depending on your dietary needs. I will beposting here and there what I'm eating for lunches or breakfast. Place is neat and clean and the owners were awesome I got tomeet both of them today. Such an awesome time and Joe is such a knowledgeable man. They have breakfast lunch and dinner andeven desserts available in there grab and go refrigerators. At first I was skeptical because of all the different places in the area but I took a gamble and I couldn?t be happier walking... in I was greeted by the owner Joe who was friendly and had open arms to all my questions. He explained to me their meal prepplans and even gave me a meal to try for free. I order a salad which I pictured below and it was more than fabulous thepresentation and the color of the salad where nothing short of amazing. Since that first visit it?s been a weekly stop for meto get my salad after work and to pickup my meals on sundays. The meals are awesome and they have so many damn options. Grantedthere are a few I don?t care for but that?s because I?m picky and like what I like. It?s the customer service and consistencythat makes me come back every week.
