Decided to take out family out for breakfast. The service was great. The food on the other hand not so great.
To say it was slow would be a understatement. I had a take out order and a waitress looked at me 2 different times and didn't... say a word. After 2 more guy's coming in finally a girl asked about our orders. My order was for Doordash and after taking 20minutes waiting on the order plus traffic it took about 45 minutes to get the order dropped off. And it's been a regular thingtoo with Bob Evans taking a long time. I myself would never eat there because they obviously don't care about hiring enoughpeople to work. So that means service is going to be bad either way. It wouldn't have been so bad if the one girl didn't lookright at me 2 time's and didn't say anything. We went to a different Bob Evans this morning & it was very good. I had to go to Miami Valley Hospital South in Centerville, so... we went to the Bob Evans on Wilmington Pike. Both myself & my husband ordered eggs over easy & they were cooked perfectly. Wenormally go to another Bob Evans & always get the eggs cooked the same way. They just can't seem to get them right at the otherone. Not a problem at the one we visited today. We both loved it. Read more
My wife and I decided to have breakfast for dinner this evening, so we headed to Bob Evans around the corner from our house. We... had the best strawberry waffles & bacon EVER!!! To top it all off, our server was a #ROCKSTAR So much so, that I'm seriouslythinking about trying to make her a real estate agent! There was no wait and the restaurant was clean. Our server had the personality of a rock; she dumped water on my husband's plate... and offered no apology. We were given the check yet never asked how things were. The food was mostly good except for the lack ofblueberries in the pancakes. The cashier never looked at us or thanked us. I actually made this visit as a 'secret shopper' to see if the waitstaff would proactively offer Mt Dew. When she did, I gave... her $20 and revealed the purpose of my visit. I don't think it 'skewed' the results for the purpose of this review as I watchedwhat was going on throughout my visit. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and busy doing what they should have been doing.The food was very good and the most expensive thing on the menu was under $14. Their focus is breakfast anytime, and 'down homecooking'. Read more
The food was very good and fresh. Our server was top notch. Parking lot was large and wasn't very full.
