My other half always told me about this place, so we stopped there on our way down to Houston. I really liked it. It was a neat... place with a completely different atmosphere to many other places I've been that served the burgers. The people were really niceand it was an interesting stop. Texas burgers are pretty darn good. You should stop there if you see it on the side of thehighway and have one Read more

Good burger. Some of the older staff could use some people skills, though. Store was clean, bathrooms were nice, wait was short.

I enjoyed the seasoned fries. I am sorry to say the burger patties were extremely bland and dry. It was hard to swallow without... drinking something. I forced myself to eat this meal. The wall had written on it ?you could find it cheaper but then you gottaeat it? and I took that as a recommendation because I probably would?ve enjoyed a burger somewhere else. There was no sight ofnapkins, but thankfully one of the staff members brought some out to us, she was very kind. The girl who took our order wasextremely shy, bless her heart. I asked for assistance to read the menu (too small print) and she didn?t respond, just stared atme. She had a quiet voice when repeating our order back to us. I hope her confidence grows in time, until then, pay closeattention to make sure your order is correct and don?t leave your glasses in the car like I did, you?ll need them to read themenu. Read more

From out of town. Left the cheese that I paid for off my hamburger and it was not given a receipt. The Patty was also burnt on... the edges. Waste of my time to turn back around go 10 miles then get stuck in traffic to get my cheese. On a good note the bunwas fresh as well as the veggies. For the price of a number 1+ cheese (which I think it should?ve came with the cheese.) It wasnot worth $10.60. I?d recommend checking your order before leaving. Read more

Burgers were delivered as ordered. Food was hot and fresh. Very tasty. I opted for the cheese sticks instead of the fries and... was not disappointed. Family enjoyed their french fries and Texas burgers. One member of our party had the sourdough burger andsaid it was excellent. Waited 20 minutes for the food but worth the wait. Read more

The place was clean and staff was friendly. I will say that there's nothing special about the food, but the atmosphere and great... customer service just makes the experience so much better. They also had blue bell ice cream! Definitely recommend for those wholike eating fast food, but want to try something different. Read more

Texas is known for some pretty good beef burgers, and I'm gonna add TX Burger to the list of must visit. I visited on a Tuesday... night, which there are certain burgers offered at half price. My burger and fries were served smoking hot. The staff is sopersonable. It's great to just chat with people who enjoy what they do. Great service doesn't require much. The team in thebuilding kept the restaurant area clean and tidy. Highly recommend a visit. Read more

One of our favorite stops on road trips down to Houston. I REALLY wish it weren?t attached to a subway because I can?t stand the... smell of subway. ????. But alas it is. Doesn?t stop us from coming because we love the food. My favorite is the mushroom Swissmaverick burger (1/4 pound) with sweet potato fries. MH likes the Texas burger (1/3 pound) with regular fries. My youngest lovestheir kids burger but it?s pretty small, so I don?t recommend it for bigger kids. Perfect for younger ones not in aeat-all-the-things growth spurt. Apparently, mine was in an ear-all-the-things growth spurt as it wasn?t enough this time. Ishare mine with her. She was hungry enough to not care amount the mushrooms and mustard. Lol. My other child loves their corndog and sticks with that. They also have blue bell ice cream and a great selection of drinks. They have four lemonade/aguafrescas on selection as well. Loved the mango one but the strawberry lemonade was the table favorite. I mixed it withunsweetened tea. Delicious. If we ever come in nice weather, I?d love to eat on the patio as it?s surprisingly nice with itsvine covered arches. It really is a great little chain. Too bad we don?t have any up in north Texas.
