I?d rate this place a 3.5. There are a couple other Mexican restaurants we prefer to this one, based on similar orders from... each; service; atmosphere; and cleanliness. Our server was okay; she wasn?t super attentive with checking on us or drinkrefills, considering how slow the restaurant was at the time. However, we didn?t have to wait very long for our meal and it wasgood. I would say there were decent portions for cost, although this restaurant is a bit more expensive than our favorite one.Upon entering the restaurant, the breezeway was foul. I understand it has been very hot and humid, but it smelled awful as weentered the restaurant, and this could definitely deter potential guests. Some drama between some staff caused loud noise in thekitchen, which banged against the wall in our booth. Decent experience, but probably will not be revisiting. Read more
Had the carne asada fries and they were excellent. Also had the wet burrito with shrimp and the server suggested the ranchera... sauce which is actually fairly spicy but if you can handle it I definitely recommend. Went here for business lunch and was actually shocked when they asked for smoking or non smoking table. Of course we said none... smoking. Time was around 1130 on a weekday and we were seated right away. Fast service, the complimentary chips and salsa aredefinitely not the best thing about this restaurant. I had the lunch Special #4, basically a chicken burrito, with extra riceand no beans. The burrito was very well prepared and the amount of shredded chicken was not on the light side. For under $10with a soda, how can you go wrong. Recommended and I would eat here again and try something different. Coworkers all enjoyedtheir meals as well.
