My brother grew up in Central Islip, since 1974. As a matter of fact, Bravo used to be King Kullen. Well my brother moved to... Texas. He is a contractor. So he is doing contract work in New York. He went to Carvel, located in Motor Parkway and ordered alarge banana milkshake. The lady made the milkshake and he paid over $8. He tasted it and told her this taste like vanilla, notbanana. She gave him a banana and walked him out the door. Their customer service is the worst! Read more
As of late Carvel's devotion to customer satisfaction has plummeted. I went to Carvel to get my family ice cream for dessert, ... I was met with pure denial for a positive customer experience. The banana barge always came with all the ice cream being softserve, they did not want to honor my request for just that. They had the nerve to tell me no. Am I not the customer? Give mewhat I want, not what you want to sell me. After finally getting my soft serve they were so Stingy with all the toppings.leftstuff off. This franchise needs to back to the way it was. If the customer is willing to pay to get what they want then theyshould honor my request. I think I'll be going to Baskin Robins for my next ice cream fix. Read more
Walked in. Wasn?t even acknowledged. The girl appeared to be cleaning the sink. I asked my husband if she possibly didn?t hear... us walk in. (Maybe hearing impaired?) At that moment she looked up and she had a phone to her ear! She looked at me, didn?tacknowledge me and continued with her phone conversation! After another full minute, we walked out.
