Great menu and not the same old same old. I had the duck nachos with brie cream, very tasty. A great atmosphere in a beautifully... restored historic building. Service is very good and they have a great selection of deserts. Prices are a bit more than average,but easily justifiable considering the selections and quality of food...it doesn't come out of the Sysco truck. Our food took awhile to get but I think we ordered right after four or five tables had just ordered. These days you need to be patient and givethe staff a break. Read more
We stopped in for breakfast and it was nice and quiet. I imagine it gets pretty loud in there at night. Giant mooncakes!
It is borderline ridiculous how fresh and delicious the food is here. I've never been less than overly impressed by their food,... especially the presentation. We love the atmosphere, the menu options, and how wonderful they are with our kids. Treasure chestfor the win! Love this place ???? Read more
This one is truly a gem. You must stop here when coming to torch lake or anywhere close. Stopped by on our way to petoskey! Will... come here every time we are up here now. absolutely only reason for the 4 star was because of the prices (bear in mind we got soup, upgraded sides, and desert), I... don’t know it just a baffles me haha. Moving on… service was amazing!! Our waitress was so kind and very helpful. atmosphereand bathrooms were great. Food was very nice, that mushroom bisque was to die for. Stopped in with some friends and asked what was good. He said everything. He was right, all of our food was great! The staff is... very friendly and the atmosphere is great too. We will be coming back to try other food on the menu very soon. Read more
*SECOND UPDATE AFTER WE HAD A RETURN VISIT. The owner and I communicated and we gave TLC another try and wow what an awesome... time. I'll never forget this experience. A+! 5 star. One word. OVERPRICED. What a joke. Are you kidding me? $26 for this “fish and chips”? A $17 regular burger plus an... additional $3 for fries? Insane. Is my last and final thought on this less than stellar joint! Skip this one and head furthersouth for better food for a WAY better price, unless you want to feel ripped off. ???????? Read more
