I had soup and salad. I asked for chicken noodle but they brought me clam chowder. My husband had a hot roast beef sandwich... that was very salty and the beef had a funny taste. Been here a few times. Most recent visit showed the same unique, fun decor. The menu seems to have been trimmed down. Hostesses... were friendly when you come in. Wait staff was average on this trip. Didn't check on how the food was and didn't really engagemuch at all. Food was what you'd expect. Burgers are good while the steak we ordered was a bit chewy. Busy place. Waited about 15 minutes to get seated. Waitress was very quick to take order and get drinks to us. Overall the... restaurant is clean. The carpets could use cleaning. I ordered Sonny's pot roast sandwich and fries. My wife had fish and chips.The food arrived quickly and hot. My pot roast sandwich was too fatty (clumps visible) and the fries slightly under cooked a Ilike slightly crispy. My wife's fish was perfectly cooked and he fries were cooked longer. Market prices for the meal. Starswere lost because of a safety problem. The exit door in the center of the restaurant is partly blocked and will impede excitingduring an emergency. We?re here to visit the Great Wolf Lodge but would like to eat outside of the hotel. This place has a unique outdoor decoration... that catches our eyes when we passed by and decide to give it a try. Actually it?s a great choice compared to other franchiserestaurants nearby. The vibe inside is kind of country style and we love the cock?s crow when someone step in or out of thedoor. The food is decent and fairly priced. It?s a good substitute to the hotel dinner plan for sure. Dinners are mostly $13-16and kids meals are about $6. Read more
OMG!!! This is by far the best restaurant to sit down and have a salad. Most restaurants use packaged deli meats?NOT THIS... We went there twice without booking a table and got one immediately. If you want to take your kids to a cute little place... conveniently located quite close to the Great wolf lodge they will probably like it. They have chickens outside , a cute tractorand a spot to take pictures, it will entertain them while waiting for food and they also have a very cute little shop insidewith a very beautiful selection of stuffed animals. They have a kids menu (that comes with crayons ) but I would avoid that, wegot pizza pockets and it totally felt like something microwaved, no need to go to the restaurant for that. Unfortunately, besides the place being very cute and adorable , I can't say that I liked the food. I actually think that the breakfast I had atthe local Mc Donald's tasted much better, I really wanted to like this place but there wasn't one food I can say we liked . Ialso think that the kids menu could and should have more healthy choices . One nice attention they have towards the kids is thatthey can pick a little toy from a box for free . The first time they offered us a high chair , second time they didn't. I readsome reviews complaining about the covid protocol, I have to say that when we went the people working there were wearing a maskand there was a giant hand sanitizer at the entrance for everybody to use, besides the fact that the place in general was keptclean.
