When I go out to eat, I want my food hot. Don't serve cold sweet n sour pork...but pour hot sweet n sour sauce on it. If I... wanted a cold meal....I would have made a sandwich. Last time for this place....no good Chinese locally food....oly is closestand worth the drive. Martin way Chinese buffet......the food is never cold!! Read more

I should have stuck with my usual. My combo meal was just bland. There were hardly any crunchy noodles in my subgum chow mein.... It's be nice if they were on the side instead of on the bottom getting soggy. The wor wonton soup is amazing! Read more

We've been a customer of Peking House for more than 10 years and they have always been our favorite. Last time we got takeout we... weren't thrilled but just assumed we just had bad luck that day. However, we ordered takeout again today. We noticed the menusweren't on their website but typically order the same items so just went with it. We always order a D3 (chicken lo mein, sweet &sour chicken, fried rice and egg roll) for me and I give the Sweet and Sour chicken to our 5 year old. So we ordered two ofthose, an order of General Tsos, chicken fried rice and an appetizer sampler. First we were shocked to open our D3 and finddouble the Lo Mein and no Sweet and Sour chicken. So when I called I was informed that it no longer includes the Sweet and sourchicken. When I asked if they reduced the price due to the lack of protein the answer was no all prices have gone up. If theywould have said something when we ordered we would have paid for the Sweet and sour chicken for our son. Additionally the crabpuffs and approx 1/16th of a teaspoon of filling. The rest of the food was missing the flavor it normally has. I'm not sure wewill be back. It's very disheartened. Long story short, don't order your usual before confirming what comes in the combos. Our family always stops here when traveling between Tacoma and Portland. We order family style, for fewer than are in our party,... and still leave with yummy leftovers. They let us substitute entrees and it's good food at a great price. Read more

2 years ago this place was great. It has changed. The prices have literally gone up 50% in those 2 years. They were closed for... indoor eating during covid. When I called recently to ask if their dining room has reopened they said no so I placed an orderto pick up and when I got there the dining room was half full of customers. The quality of the food is the same (decent) butwhen chicken fried rice goes from $8.95 - $13.95 in less then 2 years that's crazy. Read more

I'm going to consider that technically every dish I ordered was the right ingredients and by the time I go home it was still hot... and the flavor was good....but it could have been seasoned a little more. I ordered for pick up and the staff seems very niceand they made a very large order in 25 minutes so that's not bad at all. The filling for potstickers was good and the honey, sesame, and general tso all tasted good. The fried rice was made right but personally I'm used to more seasoning for all ofthese items. The egg flower soup seemed to have too much cornstarch in it and tasted bland because of that. There's plenty ofparking at the location but inside the store seemed dark and uninviting. Add some decoration! Read more
