The food is good but the atmosphere was unbearable - the entire place is pitch black and very very damp? They need some... dehumidifiers in there for sure - everything was sticky and uncomfortable. The lack of lighting is also pretty frustrating. Wesat in the back room near scattered chairs and a two lit Christmas trees in July lol...Place definitely needs some TLC to chargethose prices - the dining experience as a whole was just not enjoyable, but again, the food is good - maybe order take out. My Husband and I have been coming to Rocco?s for about 10 yrs now. We live in Charleston and will drive to eat here. The food is... so good,the service is A1. We love this restaurant! Makes for a great date night or just when you want a good meal. Read more
Omg!!! The best authentic Italian restaurant that I've ever been to. I've been twice now and both times I got something... different and let me tell you absolutely amazing. The atmosphere, the people, the service, just great. My server remembered meand my family. My favorite new restaurant so very happy our friends told us about Rocco's! We had an absolutely great experience at roccos. It's a hole in the wall restraunt you could miss just driving by but I... recommend you don't skip this place. We had no wait and was seated right away. The waiters were with us right away. It is tightdinning tho there is little room between the tables. I ordered the filet topped with jumbo crab lumps with a clam chowder soupthat was to die for. The filet was tender with great flavor and the pasta underneath was top notch. Read more
I have to say my husband and I were disappointed. We have gotten better meals at Fazolis and for a fraction of the price. I'm... rating this based on quality and taste of food. Food was much better years ago. Now on servers and atmosphere of restraunt Iwould give it a 5. We had spaghetti and lasagna. There may be other meals that are more appetizing. Romantic setting that only a Ristorante can provide. We are a fan of the frozen family meals you can get at Kroger's and in... person did not disappoint. Be prepared to she'll out some $$$ but the portions are huge - basically 2 meals in one. Read more
