Check to see if they will have a DJ playing before you go. If they do, go somewhere else because you won't be able to have a... conversation with your friends without having to yell and say "what?". Even if you sit far away from the DJ you still won't beable to hold a conversation with your friends. Edit: after getting the reply from the owner stating they will give me a giftcard if I change my review to 3 stars. I will not be going to this place again. I feel that is an unethical business practice.And yes, the service was bad. One of the employees was very passive aggressive to us after we asked if they could ask the DJ tolower the volume. Blaker Brewing is a brewery located in an industrial center. On the outside you'll see a large grain silo in front of the... brewery. The inside has an industrial meets rural feel with a large pull-up garage door as a side entrance and reclaimed wood onthe walls. The craft beer is made from locally grown ingredients. Every sip of the Hidden Locus Hazy IPA was refreshing anddelicious. I would recommend the brewery install air conditioning. The large air unit wasn't enough to cool the brewery. Yourconsumers would be more inclined to stay, than take their beer to go, if the inside temperature was comfortable. This is agreat date spot with weather permitting. We had a birthday event in their building behind the brewery. Everything was great! Food, beer and it is a great place to have... a large gathering. Only issue we had was we were not told that their wasn't any air conditioning. It was a lot of money tospend on an event where everyone was miserable. If we had know when we booked the event, we would have rented coolers or ifthey would offer it. We booked late July and we were telling people that it wasn't outside, as to not worry about the heat. Wehad a lot of elderly people and it was way too hot. People were polite and dealt with it, but when you are spending about $4500it is very disappointing. If it wasn't for the 105 degree building, I would give 5 stars. My advice for anyone going to book itto rent coolers in advance and then everything will be great!! Read more
This is specifically in response to the review down rating for the handicap parking issue. I have an above knee amputation and... found it there was plenty of accessible parking Street side with a ramps the owner's constructed to enable accessibility for allfrom the street. I had no issue whatsoever accessing The Establishment and feel that the wheelchair would easily access it fromthe curb as well. Great experience overall. Nice beers and chill environment. The review would be 5 stars, but they block their handicap parking... with benches to sit on. Not cool and might be against the law. Read more
We went on a Saturday so they had a hot dog cart and they were the best hot dogs we?ve ever had. Also great live music Eric Fry.... The best drink on the menu is a Pluot sour which the bartender let us know the owner grows the pluots on his farm. Read more
