Wonderfully innovative hot dogs. A group of us went for lunch. We tried the House Dog (special house sauce, green chili... spread)), the Mutt Dog (a combo of green and red chili), the Elote Dog (corn, lime, chili, cilantro, bacon bits), and thePastrami Dog (pastrami, pickles, mustard, bacon bits, sweet pepper aioli). Childhood nostalgia, come here for a boost of it if you haven't been recently. Still the same old menu with turkey corn dog,... all beef corn dog, and a veggie dog (Ok, maybe the veggie is the newer item). The lemonade now has 3 flavors and I never seemto see two girls making the lemonade outside by pumping each other out like the old days. Sigh. However, the lemonades hereare still good and we bought one of those reusable cups which you can get a refill for $2.00 all year long. Only thing is, thelemonades taste is not consistent. Sometimes you get the oily version which I love and sometimes you get the very watered downversion which looks the same but doesn't taste as good. Parking is easier around the back of the mall as if you're going todine by Cheesecake or Watch a movie at Harkins. The next Hot Dog on a stick location is at Santa Ana Mall which is way too farfor a blast to the past. Look for free hot dog days or reduce $0.70 price days by following HDOAS on social media. Ordered 2 beef/cheese on a stick and small lemonade and ended up waiting longer to get my order, 2 teen worker girls were... talking and laughing also using phone while frying the sticks and I was uncomfortable how unsanitized they were handled thisafter 10+ mins of waiting and I had to asked for my lemonade while waiting on the sticks then both of my sticks were a littleover cooked and slight burnt and I didn't want to ask for another to waiting any longer and these 2 teen worker girls weregiving some attitudes.
