We went close to closing time and it was super fast so no waiting. Admittedly, I've had Poke Bowls in Hawaii and that has... obviously raised the bar on what I expect in a poke bowl. That being said, I'm not a fan of the "pick your own poke." I thinkfor majority of people we don't know how to make a proper bowl. This place is like a subway but for poke, which is fine if youknow all the sauces etc well..but I don't. Maybe more guidance from staff on what constitutes a good bowl. The ratios were alsooff. So much rice compared to the toppings. I passed on the sauces because I had no idea what they were and so my bowl waslacking a ton of flavor and a bit dry. Read more
I would give this place 5 Stars if it was not for the pungent odor of lord knows what it is (it's food though so if you like... their food the odor shouldn't bother you). Onion? Wasabi? I am getting in the habit of finding Poki spots to try and this isone of the few that is nearby. I have to say it's delicious! I don't do too much but that's what I like these places - you cando as much as you want for customization or a simple base of sticky rice with not too much going on (see my pic). Oh! Anotherquick little note: even though there was a wait the staff were very polite. I feel customer service is a huge part of customersatisfaction - at least it is for me! Love this place it's close by to where I live. A line during lunch hour, but it moves quickly. Everyone is pretty chill,... depending on who's there. They don't ask if it's your first time they just expect you to read the sign and figure it out, whichisn't too difficult. Depending of who's working will decide the level of friendliness, other wise some are just dry about mixingand serving you, whole other are way more friendlier. Read more
Great place for good Poke. Ingredients are fresh and it's good to have a Hawaiian version of Poke. Most of the time, it's a... Korean version. I like the subtle changes of both styles. Read more
I was used to going to the one in LA when I lived out there but now I'm so happy you have found this spot in Cerritos. Better... selection of add ons and fish is fresher. Definitely earned a repeat visit. Read more
