Starbucks is the epitome of mediocre. They should change the name to Averagebucks.

I hate writing reviews but this bothered me. The place was clean, but the barista James was very rude and eye rolling person.... Didn't even hide it, I understand my drink is weird but don't make someone feel weird about their own drink. Then , I getcharged 1.20 for something they DONT have. I understand it's nothing but make sure you have something before you charge someonefor the extras. Lastly, he throws the straws not once but THREE I've never been treated so poorly. I understand James wasgetting busy but it was only 4 people after me ? Read more

Learning experiences. Sucks when they happen, but the experiences make us better off in the grand scheme of things. 2... Frappuccino Happy Hours a year apart, 2 fails Last year's FHH, I thought I'd go to a Target Starbucks, in the hope of bypassinglong lines at stand alone Starbucks locations. Boy, was I wrong! When I arrived, the line was already about 15 deep. However, the reason was not so much demand, but that there was only one barista taking orders AND making the drinks. Bu-whu?!? The FHHwas designed to bring in volumes of customers & only 1 barista to handle the load? It became so backed up, one of the Targetmanagers came and picked up the slack. It's only 3 hours, people! Proper staff scheduling would've prevented things from notrunning smoothly & efficiently. The wait was almost an hour. I had thoughts of "Is a 1/2 off frappuccino really worththis?". Fast forward to this year's FHH. Remembering the events from the previous year, I naturally had reservations on comingback to this location. Convenience influenced me to come back to this location, as we were visiting my dad's grave at ForestLawn. Plus, I thought positively, thinking Target Starbucks learned their lesson last time & will make sure nothing like thathappens again. The sit-rep? Yes, one barista taking orders & making the drinks. The line at 3pm was around 8 deep. Fortunately, I wasn't the one buying the drinks. I rested my aching muscles in a chair located at the Target snack bar. Therewas some improvement since last year, I'll them that! The wait for drinks seemed to go by quicker. However, that doesn't makeup for the lack of proper staffing. One taking orders, one making drinks. At the very least, for Frappuccino Happy Hour of allthings. I recommend going to a stand alone Starbucks than spending your money here. Read more
