I had a nice first experience at Antica. I got an Italian mojito, which was tasty, and the lobster and crab ravioli. Their... cheeseboard was really great with all kinds of spreadable cheeses, eggplant, and peppers. I only wish they gave more toastedbread with the cheeseboard, because we ran out before we finished off the soft cheeses. The service was also wonderful and ourwaiters were attentive. Went today for the first time. Last minute dinner date with my husband. And I must say the food is extremely delicious. We had... the seafood house special. We got the creamy sauce instead of the white wine sauce. Very filling and huge portion. Tastedfresh!!! Our dessert Lemon cream cake was so fresh and soft! And I don't even like lemon desserts. The calamari so crispy andfresh. Friendly staff. Everyone worked together asking were we ok. Its not as small as it looks either. I really enjoyed it. The food here was incredible. My partner and I had the seafood special for that day, calamari as an app, and a few glasses of... wine. Good portions for the price. You won’t go home hungry for sure! Delicious food, reasonably priced with generous portions. My boyfriend and I split an... appetizer and I just could not finish my seafood pasta dish. According to the dessert menu, the restaurant offers BYOB, thoughtheir whisky sour was so tasty! Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Our waitress Suzanne was very accommodating and we really just love the service and the atmosphere of the restaurant. The menu... was spot on and it is what brought us into have dinner and enjoy the perks of restaurant week in the Chadds Ford area. Waslooking for somewhere that had great food that wasn't too far away from Longwood gardens where we went for the first time and itwas also amazing just 10 minutes away. This is definitely a must go to again for years to come the food is absolutely deliciousand the wine selection isn't pretty bad either. We ordered the Fried Calamari Fresh Rhode Island Calamari Lightly Fried overWhite Bean and Garlic Puree Topped with cilantro aioli. And for our second appetizer the Pulpo al Griglia Grilled Octopus,Arugua, Citrus Chili Oil and they both were marvelous. Cabernet Braised Shortribs which were so luscious and Hardy it literallymelted in your mouth. The umami hit so many different levels especially the savoryness brought out by the Cabernetreduction.Braised Tender short ribs wild mushroom risotto, grilled asparagus, cabernet reduction. The second entree wasdefinitely the star of the show as well my favorite Zuppa di Pesce Sautéed Clams, Mussels, Shrimp, Salmon and Crab in a WhiteWine Pomocoro sauce served over linguine. Both dishes were very well proportioned that it was more than enough to eat half of itand take the rest home with you and I love having something to eat for later. We finish off the rest of dinner with a blueberrycheesecake brulee which was so yummy and tasty also we had the chocolate mousse which was rich and decadent and everybodypossible. Tonight is date night! We are going to Longwood Gardens for the Christmas light show! What better then and absolute fantastic... flavorful Italian dinner! The food is fantastic fresh tasty and just right! The building is cozy and the new addition is verycomfortable! The waitress was friendly and accommodating!
