A fantastic lunch experience at a very classy Tavern. Located in beautiful Chadds Ford, PA, this eloquent tavern offers a nice... variety of culinary delights from seafood to handheld sandwiches. There is a nice sit down bar that offers cocktails, beer andwine. The service is excellent. Our hostess sat us immediately, and our server, Leo, went above and beyond to make our lunchexperience comfortable and inviting. For lunch I stared with a red sangria which was sweet and fruity. For lunch I had one ofthe taverns classic meals, Jumbo Lump Crab cake. The Crab Cakes were firm, moist and packed full of crab. It was complimentedwith a sweet, rich and creamy corn risotto and garlic spinach. It was amazing! The atmosphere was relaxing, with light rockmusic playing in the background and sports playing on TV above the bar. There was also a separate seating area away for the barperfect for families and large groups. A great place to have a wonderful meal if visiting Chadds Ford PA. Read more

The food was INCREDIBLE. Very unassuming from the outside, you walk into a quaint, we'll appointed bar and dining room.... Everything from appetizers to entrees to cocktails were excellent. Will definitely be returning. Read more

Reservations required and table for group was prepared when we arrived. Server was very good. The menu offered several gluten... free choices which we appreciated and why we chose to come. Filet mignon was tough to chew. Mashed potatoes arrived cold perhapsbecause we had a group and they wanted all items to come out together. There was not even one walnut on the harvest salad asdescribed on menu and pictured on website. The saltiness of vinaigrette dressing on salad, pretzel topping and sauces fordipping was extreme which made the salad especially almost inedible. Perhaps it was an error in preparation of recipe today.Overall food was average and rather disappointing. No table visit from manager as you might expect from a restaurant of thisprice range. It was extremely dark and candlelit at midday, nice ambience but difficult for some of party to see. Of all theplaces we’ve eaten this one failed to be memorable or one to revisit. There are better places to eat in the area. Read more

We came here after stopping by the winery around 2pm on a Sunday and was pleasantly surprised by all of the food options. We got... the wing sampler, short rib fries, and truffle fries to share. All were very good and tasted fresh. I ordered the eggplant parmand thought it was tasty. Not too heavy or greasy. Would definitely come back. Read more

We opted for a simple meal, salad and burgers and fries. Oh yea, bacon shrimp as an appetizer. One more thing...being near the... mushroom capital of the world...Kennett Square...I had to try the mushroom soup. Only one catch, I had finished my burger andit hadn't come out of the kitchen. When our server...nice guy albeit a little too confident...questioned if the soup everarrived, I said "how did you know that I wanted it for dessert" Canceled the soup so I'll never know if it rivals Buckleys InDelaware. Place was backed on a Tuesday, very loud with what appeared to be college kids home from school. Doubt we'll go backunless in a pinch. Final words...food was decent. Pics of our burgers Read more

First time here and I have to say wow! The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. The sauce with the shrimp was so... original, by far the best I've ever had. Will be returning Update: Unfortunately after returning and having reservations well inadvance, we waited for an unreasonable amount of time. We ended up leaving. Read more

Stopped by for a late dinner and was blown away by the comfortable, upscale atmosphere. A bar is to your right when you walk in.... The main dining room is to the left and features several tables and booths. The service was excellent; our server wasattentive, but didn't make us feel rushed, even though closing time was at hand. Food was delicious, we shared the cheeseplatter, watermelon salad (sweet, crisp, fresh, with a perfectly sweet/tart vinaigarette). Something I really enjoyed was themusic... not sure if it's the usual vibe, but my favorite songs just kept coming on! You will enjoy your visit! Read more
