Don't know much about this place. Went for a comedy night. They were not prepared for the amount of people ordering food. Shame.... They could have made a lot. Started with only 1 server who was expected to handle about 50 people. Not a good idea. The food wasgood. But people who ordered early didn't get food for over an hour. Some not getting any at all. They have a big venue so notsure why they weren't ready. I will try the restaurant another time. It looks like a very nice place. Read more

We were there for a wedding. Which was fine. If they did the catering it was way over cooked. Otherwise good bar.

If you like wings and burgers you have to try this place. First the wings are grilled which I prefer, not fried. They have a... great dry rub and the chicken is plump, not scrawny and overcooked like most places. The burgers are nice sized and come withfresh cut french fries. The server told me they marinate sirloin in whiskey and add brisket. All I can say is yum!!! Read more

My family and I enjoyed The Bar at 1720 for the first time for Mother's Day Brunch this past weekend. What a spread. They had... fresh chicken breast, a roast beef carving station. That roast beef had to be one of the best I ever had! In addition there wasan omelet station, a Belgian waffle station, smoked fish, kielbasa, grits, bagels and more. It was only $27.95 plus my wifereceived a flower and a mimosa for Mother's Day. I don't know how they made a profit. The food was all fresh and delicious. Ialmost forgot to mention they offered bottomless mimosas and their loaded bloody Mary was a meal in itself!! This place is ahidden gem. We can't wait to come back for dinner. I hear they have prime rib on Thursday and it is quite an experience! I'lllet you know... Read more

Happy late Mother’s Day to all! I hope everyone enjoyed their day ! I really hate being this person but we celebrated our day... at the bar at 1720 yesterday & it was mediocre at best. I’m not sure how long it’s been there, but my mom has always lovedthe location & the building & I saw they were having a Mother’s Day event & was ecstatic. There was 10 of us total & for theamount of money spent I would never recommend someone there (for a Sunday brunch at least). The venue is GORGEOUS, I immediatelystarted imagining what types of events I could have there. But the staff, as well as the food, extremely disappointing. Iunderstand everyone is fighting their own battles & im not sure what types of things the waitresses & servers may be dealingwith so I tried to really be as kind as possible. But the food not being up to par did not help at all. I am intrigued by theirdinner menu & the reviews look great so I will absolutely be giving them a second chance over a nice dinner but it wasunfortunate that was my first impression of them. Read more
