I had never been but my husband had suggested going. Walked in, had one waitress ask if we wanted anything to drink. Got our... waters. There was probably 3 tables leaving and just us in the place. Waitresses we're too busy giggling behind the counter.After sitting for an additional 25 minutes, we just got up and left. So this diner became an immediate favorite after tonight. Me and my wife just moved into our house and haven't gotten the stove... yet and we're looking for someplace to eat at 730pm.. a couple places had their doors closed at 730! 30 West did not! AND theywelcomed us very warmly and without any attitude even though they close at 8pm and we walked in and sat down at 741pm. Food andservice was great! The pasta with meat sauce is fantastic! Stopped in after about 2 years and was hoping for the same goodness I remembered. Hubby's meal was good but my spaghetti was... almost inedible. Sauce was mostly water and noodles were disgusting mush. Over half was left for the server to take away andwhen I told her it was awful, she just took the yucky stuff away and never even acknowledged the obvious oozy mess nor did sheapologize. Heck, she hadn't come back to check on us nor did she ever ask if the food was OK. I told her it was awful after sheasked if I wanted a box for that mush. Very delicious diner. Definitely recommend. I got the stuffed chicken breast with mac and cheese and applesauce which came with... hand dipped Hershey's ice cream. It was amazing. Prices are very good and you get just enough food till fill you up withoutstuffing you. This place was very busy, almost every seat was filled the entire time we were there. Read more
