The only good thing I can say is the food was hot. No customer convince whatsoever. Plastic utensils, paper plates. No napkins... or condiments on tables. Smallest wings I ever saw. I wont be back. It's apparent that they are owned by China House. My fried shrimp was served to in the Chinese to go boxes. They... charged 10.99 for this little greasy box of shrimp. The box was sweaty they did not let it cool for a second just dumped it inthe To go box straight out the fryer. Grease pool at the bottom. Nasty no taste except grease. The hush puppies horrible. $5.99 wasted on the most disgusting version of hush puppies. Who messes up hush puppies soaked in a pool of greasy the bottom ofthe container too. Read more
Overall, this was a really great seafood boil spot. Nothing like it anywhere near as far as I can tell. I would absolutely come... back here again. We ordered hush puppies, sweet potato fries, fried calamari, fried shrimp, chicken tenders, 1 dozen rawoysters, snow crab legs, clams, mussels. The sweet potato fries and hush puppies were solid, pretty much the best standardversion of those you could hope for. Very well executed. The fried shrimp and calamari were cooked perfectly and notovercooked/rubbery, and is definitely a good sign that the kitchen knows what they're doing with seafood in a fryer! The rawoysters were massive and fresh. They only provided lemon and cocktail sauce, so it would be nice in the future if they couldalso provide horseradish and hot sauce... maybe a vinegar, soy sauce, or ponzu too. The snow crab and clams were really good.The mussels were slightly overcooked, but dipping it in the plentiful sauce from the bag more than overcame that shortcoming. Weall got the 88 sauce with medium spice. The sauce is crazy good! We are pretty comfortable with spice and so the medium didn'tchallenge us, but did introduce a very enjoyable uncomfortable level of spice. Lastly, the potatoes and corn that cooked in thebag with the sauce and juices were really good as well. The service was prompt and friendly. When you are ready to order, theydo not come to your table, you need to go up to the register and place your order. That's a good time to grab all of theutensils you'll want, including any extra condiments they have up there. Overall, in spite of the slightly overcooked muscles,I'll give this place five stars. Fresh seafood but they need more salt on their fried fish and shrimp to bring out the flavor. A little lemon would go a long... way. Frozen fries. Good portion. Fishy fish flavor. Clean restaurant. Friendly. Just underwhelming food please add moreseasoning and we will happily try again. Read more
Nice, little place. Menu is simple and based on seafood. There are a few different seasonings to choose from as well as a spicy... level. Ordered the 1/2 lb crab leg and headless shrimp combo in mild spice and buttery garlic sauce. It also came with a few,potatoes and corn on the cob. Food was tasty and hot. Only negative thing I can say is that it is a small place, about sixtables worth and it was getting busier so it was getting a little stuffy in there( could have also been from the spices). I have a dairy allergy. They can use a dry seasoning on the fish but can't sub the sides for French fries or something... dairy-free. What a joke. I was willing to get a $200+ of seafood from them but not with this weird rule in place where I have toaccept the sides provided with no exception to allergic needs. Lmao Read more
