A couple of weeks ago we placed a take out order, confirmed the changes we needed for one of the pasta dishes with Brayden.... However, when we picked up our food our order was wrong. Went in just after 7PM and right off had a friendly smile. We ordered a bottle of wine and then we ordered dinner. I ordered... the cheese ravioli and my other half ordered stuffed shells. Within a couple of minutes the salad and breadsticks came out. Within just a couple of minutes longer the main dishes came out. It would have been nice to be able to eat the salad coursefirst before we dive into the main course. I was also a little discouraged that the waitress stated that it was in the windowfor a couple minutes before she brought it and it would have been faster but she let it sit there. When I go out I want freshcooked food don't want something that's going to be sitting under a heat lamp for several minutes before it's served. I like toenjoy my meal and not be rushed. I just wanted to share that we had exceptional service at the Olive Garden in Chambersburg Pennsylvania today! I called 2 weeks... ago and told them that I would be bringing approximately 25 guests For a birthday party celebration. They called me today toconfirm and when we showed up they had everything ready in their back area. Our 2 servers, Blake and Melissa were extremelypolite and professional. The food was good and everyone had a good time. They even sang and brought out a beautiful dessertwhich was unexpected. We just want to share this positive experience as this was our 1st time at this location and we willcertainly be back and would recommend this establishment for future parties or event! The food was good but too heavy for my taste. Its all buttery and creamy and but thats what pasta is all about. Evan attended us... and was a great guy. The service was great and the portions for the price were terrific. I hate that I had to pay 2 dollarsextra just because I played a minute of the table game while waiting for the food. Although its not much but it should have beenmentioned that there was a charge for the game . Imagine playing pool in your tablet for a minute and paying 2 dollars . Iordered lemonade and chicken alfredo with chicken gnocchi which was par with my taste. My wife on the other hand had hard timefinishing the spaghetti with mushroom sauce which tasted like butter sauce(too buttery) and can use a bit of improvement. I gotandes chocolate as reward by Evan before I left. All in all it was a good experience and I know the hardship of waiting in theline for the olive garden in NYC . Happy Birthday to Julia. Took my daughter here for her birthday. Her choice. On arrival we asked for a booth and they hooked... us up with a big one in the corner which being a family of 4 gave us plenty of room to enjoy our meal. I also asked if they didanything for birthdays to which they said you get a free dessert which is cool but we decided against it because we were takingher out for birthday dessert, we were hoping for a happy birthday serenade but Olive Garden is a respectable establishment andwe did not want to disturb the other customers lol. Delaney our server however made it a most enjoyable experience. She keptus supplied with warm bread sticks, cold ice tea and plenty of shredded cheese for our entrees. She also had a wonderfuldemeanor and a great attitude which is not easy when you have to look at your customers through a mask all day. The food wasgreat, hot and very tasty, what more could you ask for. Thanks Olive Garden and especially Delaney for giving my family,specifically my daughter a wonderful birthday meal. Happy anniversary to my lovely wife, 13 wonderful years together and we areto the point now where we are taking our children with us for our anniversary dinners lol. Second time at this particular OliveGarden location and second great time and good food partly thanks to Emma our server who was great at her job, very polite,attentive and brought us all of our food hot and in a hurry.
