Food was fine no complaints there but the staff was extremely rude and acted as if the customers were nothing more than a major... annoyance to them. The first cashier was scouling and as I stood in front of her said "Jesus f&*king christ can I just get one 5minute break?" I sat down close to the register and watched multiple customers get greeting with the same warm hospitality. Iwatched another customer get yelled at for not hearing the difference between "size?" and "sides?" I know people have their baddays but this is the first time I've seen multiple food service employees act like that in a single 30 min dining experience. Came to Champaign deli to eat inside not takeout yesterday around 7:10pm. Ordered a BLT-A but asked for no Avacodos and Mac n... cheese for my side. My BLT (which I?ve ordered before) came with two limp slices of bread not toasted or stacked like I?vegotten before with very little lettuce and just enough tomato to see it was red. I asked the girl behind counter about it andshe acted like it should have been toasted but did nothing. Also food came as takeout because she said she didn?t want to messwith the plates and trays. I?ve ate there many of times and had BLT?s and the McAlister Sub and both came with layer of breadthen tomato and lettuce and bacon or the meat depending on which one I ordered and quartered into four and long toothpick tohold together and was great. That was not what I got for 9.99 last night. May try sub again may not. Read more

Our meal was terrible. Tortilla chips for soup was stale, lettuce on salad was witty and discolored, pickle was old.
Stopped in for a quick lunch. Food was value priced and good. Will definately stop again and try more menu options.

The service here was awful. The place was not very clean. Did add a star for the food being good and decently fresh.
