I have to say that this place does not disappoint if you are into sushi. Wonderful atmosphere and yh3 place is very clean too.... The only issue had there was my waiter. This was my first time there but asked if we were ready to order right away... otherwise great experience overall. Will return later Read more

Excellent for the price. It isn't the best hibachi steakhouse you will ever go to, but it is great for the price and good... overall. Sometimes you get an awesome chef who does good tricks and tosses some food, but not every time. They are alwaysfriendly, some are really funny. The food is cooked correctly, and the portions are huge. I don't eat sushi, but I've been toldit is pretty good as well. One very important thing to remember is that they won't seat your party until everyone is inside. There are no exceptions to this rule no matter how good of an excuse you try to make up. Also, don't go here if you are in ahurry. This type of meal takes a little while so count on one to one and a half hours. Read more

The service was amazing. I got the steak and shrimp Hibachi. The steak came out med the way I asked and was tender and juicy.... The shrimp was fresh and not over cooked. The noodles were great and the vegetables were as well. The atmosphere is the missingstar. It is clean and nice but older and dated interior. Overall a wonderful place to eat dinner with the family. Will bereturning soon Read more

Great time for my daughter's 12th birthday! Tip though, if you want the birthday dessert and song accompanied by a drummer,... order it when you place your meal order. Read more

Food is amazing and prices are very reasonable for what you get. We went early, around 11:30am to beat the crowds for... Valentine's Day. Server was a bit hasty for our order, but besides that it was a nice quiet experience with wonderful food. Read more

I have been going to Oishi Hibachi Steakhouse for almost 6+ years. I have up until this point gotten fantastic service and food... without complaints. However, that is why I have such a heavy heart while writing this review. The only reason they are getting a2 is because they did correct one of the issues kind of and they got what appears to be 50% of the order correct otherwise itwould be a 1. When I place an order it is usually a pretty large order. Tonight started no different with me placing an orderfor 6 rolls (2 large rolls ($14-$15 each) & 4 classic rolls $7.00 - $7.50 each). When I got the order, I checked it real quickand happened to see a sauce on one of the rolls that I recognized (as I am deathly allergic to it) but I wanted to make sure ifit was I got it corrected. Now this roll was not suppose to have any of this specific sauce on it per the menu which is why Ididn't state to remove it when placing the order. I have done this on other orders when I see that sauce listed because I am soallergic to it. I happened to see that it was on the roll. I went back inside and asked them if it was (which I knew it was butI wanted to see what they would say) and they said no but we will go check to make sure. They did go back and speak to the sushichef and sure enough it was the specific sauce I can't have. They did redo the order which would be expected. However, the frontdesk representative gave me quite a bit of attitude about making sure I state not to add that sauce even though that saucewasn't suppose to be on it in the first place. I had never been treated like that there and I was very annoyed but I waswilling to let that go even though I can go several other places for similar food. Now I drive usually a decent length of timeto go to Oishi when I go there as I do not live in Champaign. I get home and take out all the rolls (as I only did a cursoryreview of the order) and find that at least two more or more (might have been up to 4) of the rolls Read more
