Celebrating a birthday with another couple who had been here before. Our waiter, Max was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the... dishes and wine choices. Enjoyed hearing his descriptions of the entrees and specials. Calamari could have been a bit crispierbut, still were very fresh and flavorful. We opted for seafood tonight with my partner's Walleye Almondine scoring a big thumbsup. Very moist, thick filet wasn't plastered with large slices of almonds so it accented the delicious fish instead ofoverwhelming it. Colorful bean and carrot side really made the plating pop. My Lobster Ravioli had a generous amount ofdelicious lobster pillows and a scattering of shrimp and scallops in a savory cream based sauce. The additional of the pesto wasa great idea since it lightened the sauce a bit. Was extremely delicious and really wanted to lick the bowl! Seafoods were allperfectly cooked and Max's Chardonnay recommendation was excellent. Only wish there was a bit of color on top. Maybe some mincedred pepper and chives. A single medallion of lobster would have been super. The Birthday girl's New York Strip was cooked toorder and seasoning on point. Scallops were a bit small but, had a delicious garlic butter. Really enjoyed the attention givento plating here. Very evident with the desserts. I love the family feel to the place and really appreciated the effort put intomaking sure the guests have a great experience. Even had the head chef coming around to tables to chat. Had a wonderful eveningand will be back soon. Very well done! Read more

What a gem! The place is intimate and feels like the Italian steakhouses I'd go to in St. Louis in the Italian district. Service... top notch. The server treated us like regulars even though it was our first time. Fantastic wine selection and the server chosethe perfect bottle for the table. Best filet of my life. Cooked absolutely perfectly and perfectly rare like I ordered.Everything comes with sides and salads/soup. We got one dessert to split and more to take home to husbands and they were allspectacular. So glad this place is in my options now and can't wait to take others. We had reservations and pulled up thinkingmaybe we didn't need them, but on a Tuesday the place filled quickly. Read more

very nice restaurant - the staff is amazing! we arrived a bit early for our reservation and the place was pretty empty still,... so we got to watch the staff enjoy each other and get ready for the dinner rush. Definitely an old school vibe inside withoriginal recipes and menu offerings; we ordered Bruschetta, Steak Cacciatore, Zuppa de Pesce and had a house salad and a Caesarsalad to go with our meals - bread service is also included when you sit down. We also order dessert (I can't recall what minewas, but it was something along the lines of a mascarpone lemon cake) and the hubs got chocolate lava cake (which is somethinghe is always on the hunt to find the best one); the cake was good but the lava cake didn't have any 'lava', it was solid in themiddle, which was a bummer, but he said it still tasted good. Everything was really good and we left stuffed - by the time weleft the restaurant was bustling! A true neighborhood gem in this area. Read more

The atmosphere was fantastic! With a fire in the background and the best Italian on the table. The meal was perfect! We were... taken care of gracefully by Stacy, she treated us like family. The fillet was the most tender, melt in your mouth, plate ofgodliness I have ever tasted! The halibut was on point with a cream I couldn’t soak up fast enough. Even their house bread wasdelicious. Best gelato in the twin cities. We will definitely be back! Read more

For my app I did bruschetta since you can't go wrong and a simple Italian salad (not pictured). Entree was a medium done filet... with some light vegetable, some scampi style scallops in sauce, and penne in marinara as a side dish Tiramisu as desert Andfor my after dinner drink I had a palazzo espresso Food was an overall 8.5 or 9 /10, genuinely delicious Service was an easy10. I was blown away by how much product knowledge the hostess had, she listed off dishes and wines, sauce ingredients, etc, itwas impressive. We also didn't wait for more than 5 minutes between every dish (appetizers, side salads/soup, entree, desert) Read more

Very good food, it has an authentic feel to it, not just "American Pasta". Great atmosphere and very friendly staff, Isaac was... awesome!!! He knew the menu and gave a great wine recommendation. It's a little place, but that adds to it's charm. We will beback again for sure! Read more

We had a wonderful time last night! Had reservations and we were seated right away. Our waitress, Sam we think her name was, was... knowledgeable and super helpful in making sure I would drink a wine I enjoy! Food was amazing. After we got home we realized weleft our left over entree behind and were pretty bummed! Thank you. Read more

The service was great and everyone's food was great. Staff was friendly and knew the menu well and made great suggestions. The... food was prompt and temperature appropriate. The inside dining room was clean and the patio looked great, but it was too warmto be comfortable out there. It is a relatively small place that made it feel a bit more like eating a home cooked meal athome. Read more
