I had the gumbo and it was very excellent. But to be perfectly honest the best part about it was the bread pudding that I had... for dessert. As a trained cook I've made many bread puddings in my life and this is the best one I've ever eaten. I woulddefinitely recommend this place. it's a little hidden so you have to look for it behind the AutoZone but well worth the effort. Read more
Man the food here is awesome. The staff here are great. The gumbo was a bit too soupy and I asked for more rice and they... obliged. But I will say it was great. The proportions are good also very fulfilling. Had fried gator for the first time ever andit was amazing. I definitely will be back. Read more
This place is walkable from our house! I’m not a huge Cajun fan, but I love the feel of this place so we still stop by every... so often for a drink and a snack! I love how it’s a family owned and operated business, and the owners are often around to sayhello to! The full bar is stocked and they have some great draft beer options as well. They have live music quite often and funevents throughout the year! I recommend you try this place out! Read more
