Did the downtown ocotillo trifecta in one week starting with Rock Lobster. We’ve actually experienced their teppanyaki dining... before and it was excellent. This was 1/2 off sushi Monday! Food was great, presentation was nice (loved the lollipop sushidish!). Lighting could be a little dimmer at dinner time but overall was a pleasant, not super loud, great sake evening! Read more

Just an okay sushi spot ???? ???? Stopped in for dinner with some coworkers and wasn’t really impressed. I might be spoiled... because I have been to Japan and eaten super bomb sushi but if you’re not too picky, this spot is okay. The prices are kindahigh for what it is and they have more specialty rolls than anything so it’s not the sushi spot for me but the drinks werecold and the servers were nice. There are a ton of other bomb sushi spots in the valley, try one of those. Read more
Sushi rolls were outstanding. Had the popper roll, surfer roll and lollipop roll. I would recommend the lollipop to anyone that... needs a refreshing add to their mouth. Our server was cody and asking if we can order one roll at a time worked out fabulous.Our desert was disappointing due to the chef melting all the ice cream in our fried ice cream but the manager made sure to pullthat item from our check. 5 stars all day beside the desert. 23%tip for Cody. The sushi didn't tast that fresh. The rolls were very sloppily put together. Some had a lot of rice some didn't have much at... all. The shrimp tempura roll wasn't crunchy at all. You could hardly see any shrimp in the roll. I was not impressed at all. Thepictures are not at all what the food looks like. Read more
Love it here! We have been a couple of times and have never been disappointed! The outdoor seating is still perfect with the... weather! Happy hour is our jam, its the best time to try new sushi rolls and drinks, but a classic to choose will always be beerand sushi. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming! They get very busy later in the day so happy hour is a win win. Read more
