We decided to check out Somburros for dinner a couple weeks back. It wasn't too busy, but there was a large group in front of us... so it took time. That wasn't an issue at all. I went with a couple of chicken tacos and the husband went with a burrito meal. Idon't remember if it was a special burrito and he doesn't either. My chicken was bland chicken flavor with an off-puttingtexture. It was like it had been run through a blender. The husband, simply said, it was a burrito. The chips and "salsa" werethe biggest disappoint we were handed the squeeze bottle without anything to put the sauce in for dipping chips. It was notsalsa-like at all, more like watered down hot sauce which lacked flavor and any kick. Seems like people like the place and Iwish we would have liked any of it, because the menu seemed interesting. But in the end the food was not memorable at all andthere are so many really good Mexican places nearby. Read more
First Im giving the tacos 5 stars I had a chicken and a beef taco will come back for tacos as far as the breakfast burrito I did... not like It the tortilla they use is to huge! all u pretty much eat is tortilla. I had the enchilada green sauce smothered. Andthat was disgusting I can't believe they use a mix of flour and green Chile or powder for the green sauce it was not good theyshould get some real green Chile sauce from NM. That would have made the smothered experience better I'm sorry your green Chilesauce needs a redo. Read more
Ever since moving out of the area, I haven?t had the chance to step into a Someburros location for awhile. Avery at the front... counter was great! She was friendly, had a smile on face the whole time, and when she didn?t know the answer she asked someonefor clarification. I ordered the green chili plate. We've eaten at multiple Someburros throughout the east valley. My experience with this location ensures I'll never eat... Someburros again. I ordered a meal through a food delivery service. What was delivered was complete garbage. There were supposedto be 2 drinks. One wasn't even included and the other was wrong. I had 2 red chili chimichangas. Neither one had any meat init. It was tortilla and red sauce. That's it. But the worst part was the bean chimichanga. I don't know what was in it but thephoto is included. I immediately started gagging when I bit into my food and this came out. I don't know who was working tonightbut they probably shouldn't be anymore. Read more
