Great food, perfect atmosphere, incredible service from Brittney. She went above and beyond. Almost like she was an instant... friend. Absolutely the best meal I've had. Chicken marsala over risotto has an unmatched incredible sauce with fine mushrooms. Delectable cheeses. Taste that can not be... recreated elsewhere! The service was thoughtful, prompt, and upscale. We did not make reservations. This is frowned upon, and we were told it is better to have them. They only had one server at... that time, so we sat in a time out chair and waited about 5 minutes for them to seat us. No big deal, we should have known, butwe didn't. I just wish there was mention of reservations being required in the description of the restaurant here or onFacebook. We really were made to feel like we were an inconvenience, and there was only 3 other couples in the restaurant atthe time. If they aren't required then maybe a different way to talk to guests as they come in could help people feel morewelcome. Our server was super sweet and so was the other person that brought our food. I had chicken marsala and it was reallyyummy. My mom got the wrong pasta with her dish, but she didn't bother mentioning it. I just asked for whatever pasta theywanted to give me and got spaghetti noodles. The fresh bread was amazingly good. I had a rough time with the little pasta bowlspaired with the heavy silverware, but I managed to solder my way through, the uncouth riff raff that I am. ???????? My momschooled me on the fact that they were "pasta bowls" and a place like that should "absolutely have them" as I complained aboutthe awkwardness. She proceeded to lose control of her fork and spray sauce all over the table cloth. So, we left that poortable cloth looking like a crime scene, I'm so sorry! ???? Wound up here completely by accident - meant to go to a restaurant down the street that was closed. However, really happy to... have stumbled in. Food was delicious. Ambiance was great. All the servers were accommodating and nice. If I were to give anyconstructive feedback, it would be that they should serve greater portions of their bread because it was absolutely delicious. This place was recommended to me by my neighbor and it was awesome! I had the Braised Chianti Short Rib with Carrots and... Parmesan Herb Risotto. It was so delicious, the meat was so tender I didn't even need a knife to cut it. The Risotto had greatflavor and was really creamy. The Carrots were cooked perfectly and had a nice crunch to them on every bite. I paid a few moredollars for extra sauce and I highly recommend doing that. We have been looking to eat from Pesciolino for a long time and yesterday finally we gave the restaurant a try. For starters we... had Spanakopita and Crab Cakes Italiano. Spanakopita is like a Spinach pie but taste better. It's Spinach and feta cheesebetween crispy phyllo pastry we liked it a lot. Crab cake is definitely overpriced since it is $19 for one piece of crab cake sowe won't order that again. For the main dish we had Chicken Marsala, Chicken Pesto Parmesan and their special Salmon dish. Imust say I would definitely return to this authentic restaurant for more Chicken Marsala. My daughter ordered that and I onlytried a bit. After trying her food I really wanted to switch plates???? All the side dishes we chose were amazingly deliciousbut i highly recommend the home made mash potato and mixed veggies. I give Stars for combination of service, taste of the foodand the ambiance of the restaurant but this time I am giving all 5 stars due to the taste of the food which is most important!!Service part was pretty slow unfortunately.
