Would have been 5 stars, however why no freakin' A/C in the showers??. Go in to shower and come back out full of sweat ????.. ... pointless and ridiculous... freakin' 95° outside.. at least fresh in the store and app said 9 spots for reserved parking andonly 2 spots were actually available.. i mean even taking a cold shower and still sweating while getting dressed .. can'tbelieve it.... oh wait yes I can coming from Houston area Read more
Their pump didnt work so when we went inside to get it started we were told to go to another pump. No attempt was made to put a... sign on that one. We went around the block in the rig to get in another pump and saw someone struggling to get that one goingtoo so we left. Read more
Showers are large and clean! Truck parking can fill up fast. Staff was friendly and very helpful! Overall a great truck stop.

Security lady loves waking paying (reserved spot) customers up. 10/4/2021 12:01am I was woken up because I had my reserved spot... receipt displayed on my windshield just like every other reserved spot driver. Pretty sure she singled me out because I'm ahotshot. I drive a Ram 3500 and my ticket was more visible than any ticket that a semi driver would display in their window.Kinda funny how she "didn't see" the ticket even though it's eye level and stares you right in the face if you're looking at thefront of my truck. Called me a liar after I got dressed, hopped out of the truck pointed it out to her, saying that the ticketwasn't there before. First Flying J/Pilot where security will wake you up just to be petty and then call you a liar. Not cool.Especially when I paid to stay here. Added some pictures from when I got up in the morning. She straight up lied to me and saidthat she woke up all the other semi drivers and had them move their receipts as well. Read more
On my particular visit I had a longer than usual wait for a shower. Entire place is very clean and appears well maintained... inside and out. Decent amount of parking. Well lit exterior. Inside the store is well stocked and the PJ Fresh selection of hotfood is quite extensive. Read more
Food is not fresh, our first night taking our restart we got a dirty shower with someone's hair all over the bathroom sink. The... food sits under the warmers for way to long. So far this is the worst Flying J we have been to. We always stay at a Flying J orPilot we spend alot of money at these places the way we were treated at this one in Channelview TX was very disappointing. Wehad to leave the driver lounge because a local driver didn't like what we were watching on the tv and even though we had beenthere for a while the second he walked in he went to get the manager and we had to go.
