Always a pleasant and laid back place to go. Kids eat free on Wednesdays (score!). There are TVs everywhere with something to... watch for everyone. The food is good with generous portions. Today they were a bit understaffed, but our waitress worked hardand did the best she could with utmost patience for everybody's demands. The chef will often bring plates out to alleviate thepoor waitress, and he loves a good compliment. Smiles from ear to ear. The mini crab cakes (new item) were to die for. Read more

This is a nice little neighborhood bar and eatery. From the looks it has all the elements of a quaint little hangout spot. The... food is marginal at best, which was surprising since it received great reviews from what I read- which is what guided me to thisspot. Now for my biggest disappointment, SERVICE. The sign at the front door read ?We ask for your patience due to staffshortage?. Okay and understandable considering the times we are in. However, I was not fully prepared for the lack of caring bythe ampule staff on hand. There was no lack of staff (6) for such a small establishment. The staff appeared to actually ignoreits customers, some sitting waiting 15+ minutes just to get a menu or for a server to take their orders. The staff spent a goodportion of our stay BS with patrons at the bar. They looked like they were having a good time at their customers expense. WouldI return to give the establishment another shot??.probably not. Don?t let this review stop you from trying the restaurant.Everyone should make up their own mind. For me my mind is pretty much made up. Based on my customer experience I don?t think Iwould torture myself with another return. I work too hard for my money and I don?t think it?s asking too much for good serviceand a decent meal. Read more
Updated prior post on service. The last review commented on service. Which had improved substantially. Two exceptional... waitstaff (Jessica and Sam) are simply amazing. Sam isn?t there but Jessica is a powerhouse for SRI. Let?s mention the food. Ienjoy their wings (they need to advertise a take out for this!) Literally everything is great. No joke. I earn nothing for thispost. Wednesday - kids eat free with adult meal purchase. Everyday from 11-2pm the kids eat free. The locals of SR need tocome here and enjoy the local establishment. Really like the local Cheers aoaphere of this local bar & grill. There's daily specials and it's cheap and delicious! When the... surrounding taverna and bars didn't offer any specials for St Patty's, this place did! All drinks were under $7, evenappletinis. Very friendly hardworking staff and servers too. Read more
2018 November: These people are really nice. First night here, after moving to this area, placed an order, came into the bar and... Hunter helped me with my order and told me about their daily/weekly specials. Came in another time, the owner and personnel wasdecorating the inside for Christmas and Hunter took my order, the Monday $6 burger special, tater tots and the honey mustard alltasted really good. Nice people and the food is good too. Highly recommend! 2018 December: called to place an order, ordered thefajita since it was today's special, arrived at South Riding Inn, sat down at table, food arrived at my table and it tasted goodand got the spot! Also, took note to the Christmas decorations. 2019 February and March: called to place order, Hunter and Deanawere both nice from the time they took my order to the time I arrived, sat down, ate my food and until the time that I left, the$6 hamburger (Monday) and Philly cheese steak (Tuesday) special with tater tots were served fresh and hot everytime.
