Amazing bbq! They have platters, sandwiches and many sides to choose from. There are several bbq sauces to choose from as well... as soda, lemonade and sweet/unsweet tea. Plenty of places to sit including booths and tables. I love this place, definitely goif you're in the area! Read more

I came by on a Wednesday evening to get some barbecue takeaway from a place I had not visited in some time. The ordering process... online worked well, and my food was ready at the time requested. My order consisted of one of each kind of slider with pintobeans and greens as sides, two stand alone proteins of three ribs and smoked rockfish, a quarter white jerk chicken platter withpotato salad and green beans, and two desserts (not pictured) of a key lime pie slice and their banana pudding ?parfait.? Thestaff made sure to double check my order which I appreciated when they caught a missing item before I left the pickupcounter. I found the pulled chicken and pork sliders enjoyable without sauce and the chopped beef one a little fatty for mytaste (others may like the taste I acknowledge). Both sides remained warm and had good taste and consistency as neither was toowatery. Ribs had a good bark on the outside and meat that came easily off each bone as I ate. The rockfish struck me as moresalty than what I would prefer even if the texture was pleasantly firm and not close to mushy or over cooked. The chicken couldhave had more jerk flavor for me as well as have more moisture somehow (even for white meat which I realize can be drier thandark meat). The potato salad could have a little more potato, but I liked the crunchy elements of the salad from celery, onions, etc. The cornbread had a good crumbly texture but still holds together without being too sweet. The two desserts werereadily enjoyable with the pie slice balancing tartness and sweetness well and the generous pudding portion being a part of aunique way to eat that dessert with the cornbread crumbs to go with the banana and whipped cream. I do suggest swapping thecornbread crumbs for crushed vanilla wafers instead, as that would be more traditional and also have the cookie layer match thecookie garnish on top in looks and flavor. The total for this meal came to about $42 excluding tax and tip. The va Read more

The smell drew us in. The feel good old memory BBQ smell. All kinds of awards and recognitions posted inside. There was good... variety on the menu but the food was disappointing. One bite and done. Good portion sizes but everything lacked flavor. Pulled chicken was tender and piled high. It lacked flavor and the sauces all had a strong vinegar taste. Got side of coleslawand beans and rice and was more disappointed. I'll stick to deep south BBQ. Read more

Ughhh. I was very disappointed about my visit here. I purchased the burnt ends with a side of greens and Mac & cheese. The Mac... tasted like a combination of four, milk and cheese, in that order. The greens were okay, extra seasoning is needed. Now forthe burnt ends, they looked delicious, however, they were crunchy all over, one was literally burnt and dissolved likepowder. Some of the others could barely be penetrated with a fork. I felt like I was eating jerky. This is my thecharacteristics of burnt ends. I will not be back for these and they should know not to serve them when they're like this. LikeI said, they look good but they weren't. Read more

Willard's was just ok guys... It was 5 of us that went. We ordered a bunch of food and I tried 4 different meats. Pork ribs, 1/4... chicken dark meat, brisket and burned ends. My fav was the pork ribs hands down. Brisket came in for a close second. Rib fellright off the bone and that's what you want. Enjoyed the smoke taste as well and it went decent with the sauces they have. Nowthe sauce itself, was a little bit too watery for my taste. Some folks like that but I'm the kind of guy that likes a slightthicker texture to BBQ sauce. There was also some vinegar mix sauce you could try but sadly again, I'm not the vinegar kind ofguy. Brisket was good though depending on if you like lean or less lean, fat or not that much fat. This one didn't have thatmuch fat but I'd say had just enough. I personally like a little more fat so that it can give some more moist, juiciness to themeat ????. Service was good though. It was pretty quick for all 5 of us and nice people. That was kool! Everyone seems down toearth and welcoming. I even got carded as I reached for a beer and then complimented later by being mistaken for 9 years youngerthan I actually am lol ???? ????, that was fun. Service would be a 5 star rating itself, food would be a 3. I'd still say trythem out for yourself ???? Read more

Delicious BBQ! The vast menu offers a ton of choices. The sandwiches are HUGE and a great value with 2 heaping sides. Pulled... Pork and ribs are both delicious! The sauces are great as well. Fast service! Read more
