Quick and easy service in this Chipotle/Subway style Peruvian restaurant. Eating here for both convenience and good food would... be recommended. The dish was plentiful in quantity and of average quality. It had friendly staff, though the atmosphere of thehall felt reminiscent of a school lunch-hall. Love Alpaca!!! I have always wanted to try it and was very happy when it came to Chapel Hill. The food is fantastic, excellent... customer service from all the staff, and a wonderful enviroment. I have dined in 4 out of the past 9 days. Needless to say I amhooked. I have told practically everyone I know how great this spot is. Annoyed. Was super overcharged for pollo saltado. My food was dry af, so I asked for extra sauce and for 2oz they charged my... 4.29 plus tax. Why do I have to pay extra b/c you made it dry. 4.29 for 2oz is crazy when I know online it definitely not thatmuch. I absolutely loathe coming to this location b/c I feel ripped off and that the food is not consistent with what I normallyget at other locations. It doesn?t even look like much juice was added to my food to begin with!!! And I left a note to makesure it not dry and it?s like they didn?t read it or they just don?t care. I truly feel ripped off! We had an awesome lunch at Alpaca! The service was very speedy and the pricing was affordable (approx. $20 for lunch for 2... people). We each got a quarter chicken with two premium sides (yucca and tostones) - it was a ton of food and everything wasdelicious. We are excited to have an Alpaca location open in Chapel Hill! Read more
