I placed an online order for a pack of cookies around 915pm. I had been glancing at the tracker and after it changed to ?ETA:... ASAP!? was marked for 25+ minutes I called the store asking for an update to see if maybe the driver had gotten lost. I was toldthat the order had gone out a while ago and was told she ?didn?t know why it wasn?t delivered?. They offered to remake the orderand I was told if I didn?t receive it in 30 minutes to call back. After 35 minutes had passed, mind you this is now over 2 hourssince I placed the initial order, I called to get an update and was told my order still hadn?t left the store and was spoken tovery rudely, saying that I ?need to be patient and shouldn?t compromise the safety of the drivers? and that they can only do somuch. Sorry but I never insinuated that you should compromise drivers safety? I was trying to figure out how I had been given aneta of ASAP over 60+ minutes ago. When I then asked for a refund I was initially denied, but once the supervisor came on thephone he was kind and surprised this hadn?t been handled already and refunded me within 30 seconds. Read more
I work with chapel hill transit , and today I only had cash didn?t kno that this place only excepts cards ,so I?m like omg I... only had a 20 bill I showed her the twenty she was like no I?m sorry we only taking cards the manager said no please take urcookies I said really thanks so much and when I tasted my cookies let me tell you they was made with love and a hug thanks againfor the cookies . Just left insomnia cookies. The person that?s running the place is SUPER RUDE. We just moved here from Ohio and everyone has... been so welcoming. This is the first place I didn?t feel comfortable or welcomed. He rushed us and threw our order down on thecounter like we were a bother. I?m disgusted and annoyed. Went to insomnia cookies ~10pm, was told that there would be a 5 min wait on cookies (which was absolutely fine). After 10 mins... the cashier informed us that there would be an additional wait on cookies. I asked which cookies were available (not picky, willtake whatever?s ready), he stated he didn?t know just to order something and he?d look. If a question was asked about a menuitem he huffed and rolled his eyes. Checked us out before we were done ordering and was frustrated when he had again ring upanother item. He additionally dropped most of the ice cream toppings on the counter. When leaving he was almost screaming at thenext costumers asking who had preorders for pick up and who needed to order. This opened when I was still in college here, so I have a lot of great memories with insomnia cookies. They were such a lovely... treat for late nights studying. Some campus clubs would even offer insomnia cookies for their events instead of the classicpizza to get more people in the door. The cookies are still soft, sweet, and gooey many years later and the person who servedme the cookie was delightful to talk to. Read more
It?s Friday night! Thankfully the line wasn?t crazy long at this Insomnia Cookie location, and service was quick and friendly! I... obtained 6 mouthwatering, warm cookies! ???? Oh no, I won?t misappreciate these cookies by eating them in the passenger seat ofvehicle (my boyfriend?s driving). I am anxious to get home, pour me a glass of milk and dig in! LOL Dude- I just got home. Justtook another picture of my cookie box. They gave me 7 instead of 6 cookies! An accident? Complementary? I don?t know! I don?tcare! Customer service is amazing even at 11 with a line out the door do to covid regulations. The cookies were hot and also good. I... could do without the waiting in line and delivery even if just down the block seems to be the quickest option available. Read more
I placed an order around 6:30pm and I still hadn?t received my order at 10pm. I called the store and the person told me that... they didn?t have any drivers. They then hung up on me as I was speaking. I think I should have been alerted that my order wasgoing to be delayed. I had to call customer service to cancel and they were actually nice and helpful.
