Mediocre food and mediocre management. It's obvious why the parking lot is generally empty. The mediocre fish was overcooked and... a little hard. The mediocre chicken tenders were overcooked and hard as well. The microwaved baked potato was less than mediocreand overcooked by the way. I think they should take those off of the menu if they're not actually going to BAKE potatoes. Read more
The four of us had dinner here and everyone thought their meals were great. Our starters of fried cheesesticks and fried pickles... were yummy. Chicken tenders were hand breaded and scrumptious and so was the coconut shrimp for dinner. Waitress was veryprofessional and always making sure we did not need anything. We were pleasantly surprised and will be back for great old schoolbar food!!! Read more
Very pleased servers, food was served hot, my husband loves the pierogis! Burger was good, cooked well the way i requested with... tasty tater tots. It can take a bit of time, but not really out of the ordinary. Could use some updates. Read more
Didn't have traditional wings in stock so we got boneless wings. They were small (slightly bigger than popcorn chicken). The... chicken didn't even really taste like chicken. The chicken on my salad was not the best either (awful cut). The waitress wasnice & they did a good job at seating, serving, and cleaning. Just disappointing the food wasn't better. Read more
Food is gross. Fish sandwich was awful, slimy on the bottom, and more breading than fish, and potatoes are always greasy, and... either hard, or soggy. I mean it'll fill the hole, but it's not preferred. Their plain Jane chicken sandwich is really goodthough, I'll say that much. Cleats seems to be a nice place, and prices aren't bad, but I never come away from eating Cleatsfood without feeling sick. Unfortunately. Update from later. Can't get over how sick I feel. I wanted to like Cleats. I had brought my family because they wanted burgers and wings. The staff was great, but the food was... terrible. We bought appetizers which we couldn't eat because they were so bad. The rack of ribs came cold and tough. I hadtook three bites of my steak salad and had to stop. 12/17/2021 I have to update my review! I do not like leaving bad reviews but sadly, this place earns one. I came in 10 days ago... for lunch, I ordered as I was sitting down to the bar and stated to the Kayla the Purple Hair bartender that the google menusaid they had a steak salad, she said yes and I ordered that and a Long Island. From there things go from great to bad & thenbad to worse, she decided I was a secret shopper that was there to get her fired, I tried to reason with her that I was not asecret shopper I was a google guide and was going through my phone trying to show her my other photo's from when I had beenthere on prior visits, she wasn't buying it, I kept telling her I was just there for a few drinks and a steak salad. Over thenext 2 and a half hours, I kept saying I needed my check I'm not walking out without paying. during that time a girl from thekitchen came out screaming at me to leave twice. Today I look at my bank statement, I have several charges to Cleats that day,not just the 1, and I still paid her a cash tip, despite her humiliating me the entire time. Also during this customers got upand left as they could not believe what was happening. What a shame. They really do have the best steak salad ever. Service was great the waitress was so nice but the food was completely inedible. Me and my 2 friends split the 30 wing sampler... and ate maybe 10. I remember Cleats being very good and was very disappointed. The garlic parm wings looked like they were in apuddle of water Read more
