Amazing gem located in small town Chardon. Tucked in the Maple Leaf plaza off of Water St. is the most amazing sushi and hibachi... restaurant. Walking inside, are remnants of the old Maple Leaf Restaurant which occupied the same space for decades prior. Theinside has been completely remodeled with grays, blacks and whites for a modern appearance. Beautiful flooring and decorthroughout. The sushi and sashimi is A+++ across the board. Once you visit, you?re practically family. They have remembered meevery single visit and even my favorite sashimi, Uni. Additionally, they always have my saki as well Ozeki Nigori unfiltered.The service is second to none. Attentive, knowledgeable and kind at every encounter. The menu is extensive with common items andsome you won?t find at big name places downtown! Of course they have their custom rolls as well. Friendly service, wide variety, but seems like what I got 6 pieces of sushi for here, costs about the same for 8 at other... restaurants. I got the Volcano Roll and it was very good, but the value seemed a bit off. Over $2 per piece. Read more

The food was amazing! My drinks on the other hand, had many fruit flies in them. My first drink I saw one, im not super grossed... out over fruit flies, so I picked it out and drank it anyways. Then I ordered another, and it had 2 in it and it was enough tonot want anymore. Like, that needs handled. I'm not a complainer but I'm disappointed for sure. Read more

Have been enjoying their food for several years now. Staff is always friendly, courteous, and honest. They have never once... messed up our orders to go or dine in. I just wish they were open on mondays. Still get a 5 star review from me. Read more

I have heard good things about this place and decided to finally try it. We came to get sushi and some sides. Restaurant is... clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Miso soup came out steaming. Sushi was neat and tasty. No complaints. Read more
