Very quaint atmosphere, excellent sushi selection l, creative menu and very unique cocktails. The only reason I did not give it... a 5 star review was because our server, John, was very rude. He barely spoke to us, we felt bothered when we asked a questionabout a menu selection and he literally tossed the check on the table. Would absolutely go back for the food and atmosphere butwould request not to be in his section he was that rude to the point he ruined what could of been a wonderful night andcelebration out. This place ALWAYS has amazing food. I wish I would have taken more pictures! They have 2 dining areas upstairs and downstairs.... The place is not huge, but I think it's perfect. A great place for dinner or girls night. The wine selection is good, and theglass I had was great! The service was also fantastic. I highly recommend checking it out. Read more
Selected this place on a whim and we were all glad we did. Everything was absolutely perfect. We started with Oysters on the... Half Shell, Yellowtail and Truffle fries. I had the Ahi Tuna and it was amazing! Great prices and portions served by a greatstaff! Read more
Fun night out - great food - great service - fun setting. A nice bar with a wide variety of IPA?s, wines and mixed drinks. ... Food menu was broad and portions were very generous! The truffle fries were so yummy! Sushi was a big hit and the salads andsoups were amazing. The ribs looked so delicious, and I?m a vegetarian! Servers we?re hustling and they did a great job on abusy night. Reservations recommended - we didn?t have them and were lucky to get a table. It?s a busy place for good reason! This place is located in an old shopping center in the middle of Chardon square. They have few restaurants and this was a... beautiful little gem with amazing architectural features. The Ahi Tuna melted in your mouth. The Beef Stroganoff was so heartyand rich, the Philly Cheese steak sandwich was huge and the meat was tender. The biggest surprise was the Buffalo chickenpierogi appetizer that was a huge hit for everyone at our table-I highly recommend. They also had great service! I highlyrecommend this place!! My husband and I had dinner here on a Wednesday. Was a nice place to go. Staff are not wearing masks and neither are... patrons. While browsing the menu, you're provided with some nice bread and a homemade flavored butter of the day. It was pinacolada when we were there. Not bad. He had the Cubano with fries and I had the ramen bowl. Both were good and servedhot. Service was good. The waitress was attentive, friendly and helpful. Read more
Tried Square Bistro on the recommendation of a friend. We got there shortly after opening and were greeted warmly and... enthusiastically. The restaurant looked nice and welcoming and very clean. The food was okay. Tasty, but overpriced andnothing blew me away to the point that I'd go out of my way to make a return visit. Towards the end of our meal, a couple wasseated at the table next to us and the server immediately provided them with table bread and homemade compound butter- which wewere never offered. I like bread and butter. This made me irritated. I typically don't order irritation for dessert atrestaurants. The crab nachos were delicious, but the name "nachos" were misleading. Slapping some crab salad and some chips ona plate do not nachos make. The bouilliabaise was just okay. Lacked some flavor and the croutons were mush when it was put downon the table. Really enjoyed the sushi. That's where I think this place shines. Read more
I really enjoyed this restaurant! Staff is great and the menu is very extensive. So many wonderful options and I like how they... change their menu frequently and always have specials. Not too loud inside which is a plus and they have a bit of outdoorseating. Everyone in our group enjoyed all of our meals. I had the wicked shrimp appetizer as my meal and it was delicious! Theyalso have many great desserts to choose from. The interior could use some updating, it's rather dark inside. This place isconsistently good every time I come. I will be back! Read more
