Fantastic food especially the fried green tomatos with pimento cheese. Service for the most part was really good, however our... server had a few arrogant and unnecessary comments to us and another table near ours. Read more

The food was very good, although several items from the menu were not available. There is an extensive wine list which features... bottles from around the world. The decor is very nice in the main areas, but a little less refined in the overflow sections whenit's busy. Unfortunately had water mistakenly poured in my wine by the sever at the end of the meal while paying, so left with abad taste in my mouth. Read more

It's a higher-end restaurant but not to the point of smothering. It has an excellent service and the food and drinks came out... fairly quickly. So i had Beet salad (5/5, must try), fried green tomatoes (4/5, very good but I've had better ones a few timesin some other high end places), and Filet Mignon (4/5, also very good but I've had better in other places). There is acommercial parking lot right beside it but parking can still be difficult during peak times, as is true in any part of downtownCharleston. Read more

Great atmosphere and menu selection for a nice enjoyable meal. The grits are ground fresh on site...and delicious! The service... was very good and the atmosphere was quiet and beautiful. There is ample parking around the restaurant and the location isgood, easy to find. Prices were standard. We ordered the She Crab soup, Shrimp and Grits, Fried Green tomatoes, and the BeetSalad. The soup was good, but not the best I've tasted. The same with the other dishes. However, the beet salad waswonderful! This is a great place for date night. I would actually give this restaurant a 3.5 but that is not an option. Iwould go back and try other dishes, but overall, the food was just good with some high points. The atmosphere...great!
